Part-14: Stuck

"Moon baby, your Jinnie is here. Open your eyes." Jin sniffs, taking a breath of relief, finding his sister safe and unharmed.

"Do you know her?" The old man comes behind the stall and asks Jin while trying to be suspicious of the two.

The duo nods making the old man smile.

"How did my sister end up here, Ajhussi?" Jin asks to the old man, caressing her sister's soft lock as he watches her sleeping peacfully.

"She came to me asking for the basketball match about to happen tomorrow. She looked extremely tired and alone so I offered her some cookies and milk. She ate them happily and fell asleep immediately after." The stall owner says remembering how the little girl approached him.

"I can't thank you enough for the favor you've done to me by keeping my sister safe." Jin thanks the old man who smiled softly at the adorable youngman.

"I happen to prepare my food stall for tomorrow's event and now that my work here is done, I must leave now."The old man says and leaves them to take care of Moon after petting Jin's shoulder.

"Thank you, Ajhussi!" Even Taehyung shouts those words to the old man who just waved at him while walking away from them.

At the mean time, Moon rubs her eyes trying to wash sleep out of her eyes. Even with the blurry vision she is able to figure out her bother and calls for him. Jin looks down as she heard his sister calling for him.

"Yes baby, your Jinnie is here now." Jin peppered the little bean's face with kisses.

Tae, who unknowingly is relieved finding Moon safe, suddenly feels eyes on them from far but he ignores it at first thinking he's just hallucinating things. Fixing his attention back to the siblings being all emotional, he pats Jin's shoulder gaining his attention.

"We should leave now. It's about to get dark. Continue those emotional stuffs after you reach home."

Taehyung states to Jin, beginning to walk away from them but instantly turns around caging Jin and Moon between his arms as a wine bottle land in his back just down his shoulder making him winch in pain.

"JIN RUN..!!"

Jin's eyes widens in horror as he caught sight of a group of men running towards them holding guns.

Taehyung takes Moon in his arms and holds Jin's wrist dragging him, taking a run towards the back of the stadium.

"Those are Choi's man! Fuck! I should have known it. I don't even have my gun with me. Fucking luck! I even dropped my phone."

They find a door which was leading inside the stadium, but as soon as they enters through it, it's an old looking store room with dim lights.

Tae locks the door using the keys hanging in there, while Jin pulls his hands out of Tae's hold and grab Moon into his own arms. He settles Moon on what looks like a pile of empty carry bags and wipes her tears with the pad of his thumb, whispering comforting words to her. But she just stays silent staring at her brother.

"Great, When we were worried sick trying to find her, this kid here was enjoying her free cookies. Now we are stuck in a old storeroom for the rest of the night. Choi's men are not gonna spare us if they find us out."

Jin glares at Taehyung making him halt in his words. "Stop scaring her, will you?"

He then turns to his baby sister and asks him worriedly, "Baby, why did you run away huh? You know it's dangerous right? There's so much could've had happen to you. What if that taxi driver has kidnapped-"

"As if you're being so soft with her right now." Taehyung rolls his eyes. Jin is going exactly same with his words as him earlier. But he still got the scolding cause apparently he was scaring the poor baby.
