Aunt Sunmi fussed over Jin who has been perched on the table in front of the large vanity mirror. They are currently at Kim's mansion, one of the guest room. Jin getting his make up done by the makeup artist Lady Hyuna has booked for his special day.
"Aunt, please breathe, it's me who is getting married. Yet you look like you're about to faint. Eomma, tell her." Jin chuckled as she saw how Sunmi was practically sprinting back and forth inside the room, trying to get everything done perfect for her sweet Jinnie.
"Jinnie is right, Sunmi. You should calm down. Jin's make-up is almost done. You have already made sure his suit is perfectly fine like 10 times already."
"I don't want to mess anything. He is our precious Jinnie." Sunmi sighed as moved closer to Jin and caressed his bangs behind his ears, "I was never blessed with a child. I think you and Moon coming here to Namwon was the way of the universe to at least make us feel the emotions of being parents. Thank you Jin-ah. You and Moon are literally like a blessing to us."
Jin couldn't stop the tears cornering his eyes. But he held back as the make-up noona pointed it out.
Jin reached to hug her aunt who has embraced Jin's family as their own. Never made them feel like outsiders.
"I should thank you, Aunt Sunmi. I know I was like a burden to your family, always messing up with the Kims and causing troubles. I hope you can forgive me."
"It happens for a reason. Because of your troubles, you found true love in your life. So I will let everything go as long as you are happy." Sunmi chuckled, not wanting to get more emotional than she was already.
Jin's eyes fell on her mother who was also sobbing silently, her fingers wrapped around the locket like a culture. Murmuring something about her husband being not present for their son's wedding.
Jin didn't say anything and let her be in her little bubble. He missed his appa so much. It's his special day yet his special person was not there around them. But he knew his appa's blessing is always with them.
"Jinnie, Taehyung oppa is already at the altar. He is waiting for you. He looks soooo handsome." Moon came running to his room.
"Really, oh my God. I am still not ready yet."
"We still have 10 minutes before your entry. Take a minute to absorb your feelings alone before you step into the altar. We will be back making sure your groom doesn't faint away from being nervous."
Jin nodded and they all left him in the room for sometime.
As soon as the door closed, a knock startled Jin.
========
Everything felt dead to Taehyung as he stood close to the stage. His eyes were glassy and unfocused, telling stories he could never say with his own lips.
His legs were shaking constantly. Hands rubbing in utter nervousness. Something felt strange to his heart. As if something is about to go downhill. And he would not be able to halt it. And it made him restless.
The night of passion with Jin is still fresh in his mind. The warmth of skin, the promises, the truth behind his love and affection. The lies behind his sealed mouth.
Jungkook stood close to him, ready to be the best man of his hyung plus bestfriend.
"Hyung, why are you shaking so much? Its time. Jin hyung will be walking here anytime soon. You are not going to cry, right?" Jungkook said teasing Tae with his bunny smile.
Tae just glanced at him, shook his head and looked away towards the door from where Jin was about to walk inside.
For some reason, it's difficult for him to look straight at Jungkook's eyes. He knew Jungkook would look right through him. And that made him scared. If he can't tell Jin, then he sure as hell won't be telling the truth to anyone else either. He felt guilty but Lady Hyuna's words made him stand firm on his foot. Even though it's shaking.
