Jin moves around the cafe swiftly. His mood seems to have revived again and now he looks more energetic and giggly. A small smile playing permanently on his thick lips.
"Jin, we have a situation," Hoseok said, his voice laced with concern. "Luna didn't come in today. Can you cover her delivery shift?"
Jin readily agreed. Luna takes care of the home delivery of the cafe, hence in her absense someone has to cover her shift. Since he is free as there's not many customers in the cafe, he decides to do it to get out of the walls of cafe.
Satisfied with Jin's response, Hoseok handed him a bag overflowing with containers. "These are the customers who ordered online," he explained, gesturing to the list of addresses.
Jin scanned the list, his eyes snagging on a particular name. "Kim mansion?"
"Yep" Hoseok confirmed, his eyes busy scrolling through his laptop in the desk.
"There's an order of 5 pastries and one unsweetened latte. Taehyung has ordered it." Hoseok adds.
A pout appears on Jin's lips. He has never been to the mansion which looks fucking huge even from afar. Stand any-fucking-where in Namwon and the Kim mansion will be visible from out there.
"Why not his own home though?" He questions, the pout deepening.
Hoseok nods at his curiosity. "Apparently, whenever Lady Hyuna is in Namwon, Taehyung stays at the mansion for her convenience. It makes it easier for him to follow her orders. I even heard they're working on a Restaurant project together just outside Namwon."
Jin nods thoughtfully. Not wanting to bother Hoseok anymore. After double-checking everything, he hopped on Hoseok's bicycle, the cafe's trusty steed for deliveries within Namwon. As their delivery is limited only inside Namwon, bicycle does it's job perfectly.
Reaching the mansion, Jin's jaw dropped. The place is colossal. It sprawled across an area that could easily house half of Namwon, with sprawling gardens to boot. No question the place is fucking big. The guard allows him entry, and Jin wheels the bicycle along a path graced by a perfectly manicured fountain. Every inch, walls and floor seems like a perfectly sculpted design.
He pressed the doorbell twice before the big ass door creaks open to reveal a girl with a hostile glare. Jin, bewildered by her animosity, opts to ignore it and focus on his job.
Well, they are practically strangers. Obviously Jin found it weird to have the stranger glaring him out of nowhere.
"Where's Tae?" Jin inquires, his gaze trying to peer the scene behind her.
"Tae?" Lucy scoffs. "Who do you think you are? Remember, pretty boy, he rules Namwon, not some buddy of yours to refer him so casually."
Jin is surely taken aback by her harsh words. So he bows a little and extended the bag of containers, "I apologize, ma'am. Here's the order for Kim Taehyung: five vanilla pastries and one latte."
"Vanilla? But I like strawberry," Lucy huffs.
"I didn't order them for you," a voice interrupts.
Jin's eyes lit up as Taehyung emerged from inside, sauntering towards the door, hands shoved in his pockets.
"And for your information, Jin's my friend. He can address me however he likes. There's no need to stick your sour tongue to every other person you see, Lucy. Now, scoot."
Lucy bristles at Taehyung's dismissive tone. Humiliation burned in her eyes hearing his remark as she stomps away, muttering about the "so-called pretty boy."
