The boys scarfed down their dessert after that exchange. "Thanks for the dessert" Gon said getting up, Killua following suit. "Yeah, thanks! And good luck" he said looking Hisoka's way, "I think you're going to need it." After the boys left, Kiyotaka and Hisoka were left alone at the table. "Haaa" Kiyotaka sighed "this has been fun and all, but I'm board" Hisoka smiled, "then I guess we'd better go back and pack cause our flight leaves tonight. "What? Really?" "Would I ever lie to you kitten? We've got a job to do, people to meet." "Yeah that sounds good. Where are we going?" Hisoka smiled "YorkNew city"

The flight bored Kiyotaka. He was interested for the first 20 minutes, but after that, nada. Hisoka didn't particularly mind because it meant that he got to watch his cute kitten slowly doze off to sleep and fall into his lap with a free head to pat. Which really was a blessing because his hair was always so soft. They used the same shampoo so how was a mystery to him, but it doesn't make it any less satisfying to pet.

When they finally arrived in YorkNew City, Kiyotaka had to admit he was a bit amazed. His bubble of experience with the outside world was relatively small, so he was in awe at the sheer size and population of this new city. The only thing that bothered him was the air. It smelled almost dirty, he couldn't imagine enjoying staying here for long. "How long are we here for?" He decided to ask Hisoka. "Hmm, I'm expecting about a month, but it could be more then that if things don't quite go the way I want them to." Kiyotaka almost nodded but caught Hisoka's wording. "What is do 'things going your way' look like?" Hisoka paused, clearly debating whether or not he should tell Kiyotaka the truth, and decided it was for the best. "I have infiltrated the top criminal organization known as the phantom troupe or spider. My purpose for doing so it to check out the boss, and get him to fight me." "Why?" "Because he's super strong, and I live to be the strongest. I prove that by killing anyone that might be stronger then me." "Why is that your reason to live?" "Outside of you, and before you, nothing excited me, I was the strongest in my orbit and life got boring. To make life worth living, I seek out the strong and challenge them to an exhilarating fight to the death."

Kiyotaka stopped and turned around. He began to walk towards Hisoka before stopping, bending forward ever so slightly and looking up at Hisoka. "Are you saying that I'm not enough for you?" Hisoka's heart began to beat rapidly in his chest and he put a hand over his check to cover the blush he knew bloomed there. This was why he loved Kiyotaka so much. This feeling in his chest was even better then the rush he got from fighting. This made Hisoka re-consider what he'd just said. Was kiyotaka really not enough? He'd been planning this fight since before he caught Kiyotaka, but since, he has barely given it a second thought. It was a strange feeling to hisoka because his unquenchable thirst for bloodshed and thrilling battles had always been fighting for total control over him, but after catching the mysterious kitten, he hasn't heard them at all. He got to truly enjoy handling Kastro the way he wanted to, not the way his bloodlust wanted him to. Kiyotaka was his knew fix. He was addicting. He realized he could let his battles to the death go, but Kiyotaka. Not Kiyotaka, he wouldn't be able to stand it.

Kiyotaka was still, and kept his eyes trained on Hisoka, watching his eyes look distant, a sign that he was really considering what Kiyotaka had brought to his attention. Finally Hisoka's eyes finally held their oh so familiar sharp and piercing gaze. Then a smile pulled at the corners of his eyes, changing his gaze into a new one Kiyotaka hadn't yet seen. "You are more then enough Kitten."

Kiyotaka couldn't help but feel his chest pounding. He physically placed his hand over his heart to make sure he was feeling it right. It began to beat even faster when Hisoka placed his hand under Kiyo's and gently caressed his chest. At the same time he leaned down, resting his forhead on Kiyo's. He breathed softly, tickling the boy below him. "You're more then enough" He said again in a whisper, the heart under his hand beating even faster. Hisoka let out a soft airy chuckle. Kiyotaka felt his chin being tilted upward and a soft pressure on his check. When their eyes reconnected a thousand words were said with the gaze each one gave the other. No more words needed. Kiyotaka climbed up onto Hisoka's shoulders and they continued along their path watching the sky fade into hues of pinks, purples, and blues.

The troupe had all gathered, the only person missing was Hisoka. "Does anyone know where Hisoka is?" Chrollo asked, not happy with the jesters late arrival.  He was met with silence until the doors to the abandoned building they were in, creaked open. Only Machi had expected to see Kiyotaka with the clown. "You are aware this is a members only meeting, are you not?" Chrollo asked, clearly ticked off. "Oh~ come on boss, he's just a little kitten what harm could he do~?" Chollo only stared at him, because no way in hell would Hisoka let a helpless kitten mooch off of his strength. And that only meant one thing, the cat held his own in a fight, or won. Either way meant that he was, in no way, harmless. "We both know that's not true." hisoka just sighed "He's quiet and knows how to follow orders, my orders, but orders none the less. He'll be a good boy. Scouts honor~" Hisoka mocked, putting three fingers up. "Whatever, but you better make sure you keep your little pet in check other wise ... I'll confiscate him." This surprised Hisoka, but let it go knowing he didn't have to worry about that. Instead he made his way over to his seat next to Machi.

"Psst- Kiyo" Not even a minute after Hisoka sat down was Kiyotaka off his shoulders and curled up in Machi's lap. She was as straight faced as ever, and listening to the boss, but her hand was busy massaging Kiyotaka's ears. Both of them clearly enjoying it. Once Chollo was done giving them the run down, he immediately addressed the cat in the room. "Machi, do you know the cat?" "Boss. His name is Kiyotaka and yes. I have met him once before." "I see. And why are you petting him? I get that he is small and Hisoka called him a cat, but taking it that far seems a bit. Odd." Machi looked at Hisoka, who go the silent question, pondered his answer, then spoke to Kiyo, "You can show them." he said. With that his tail was visibly swaying and curling, while his ears were pressed closer to his head as Machi had found a sweet spot. "He used his nen to make himself a cat?"
