The boys noticed that Hisoka was not phased by the question and only explained what the dish was and what usually with it. He even went more in depth about the flavors and textures of the dish. Kiyotaka seemed to think it over before deciding he wanted to try it. "Thank you." He'd said to Hisoka without looking at him. "Of course Kitten." Hisoka replied, eyes still aimed at the menu, searching for what he wanted to eat. "Have you boys decided on what you'd like?" Kiyotaka asked, curious what they'd pick. "I'm getting pizza!" "And I'm getting spaghetti!" Both boys responded excitedly. "And have you decided yet?" Kiyotaka asked, his question directed at Hisoka. "I think I'll just have the chicken Alfredo."
When the food was finally brought out, the younger boys mouths were watering, and began savagely digging in as soon as their food was place in front of them. "Slow down, you might choke." Kiyotaka warned, and the boys reluctantly obeyed, but still ate fast paced. Hisoka had only taken about four bites, when he noticed that Kiyotaka had yet to try his food. "What wrong?" "Nothings wrong, I'm just taking in the smell while it cools down enough so I can eat it." "Is that a cat thing? They can't handle heat well? Maybe just a you thing?" Hisoka wondered out loud. "I would say a combination of a cat thing and a me thing." Hisoka smiled fondly before returning to his own food.
The table's attention turned to Kiyotaka as he finally moved to pick up his fork. He took his first bite after softly blowing on his food, and his eyes widened in surprise. It was delicious! This was probably one of his new favorite foods. How could he not have heard of this? How was it less talked about then pizza? The world was awfully cruel for hiding this from him for so long.
Hisoka and the boys watched as he melted at the taste, clearly enjoying it. Hisoka knew that if he could see Kiyotaka's cat ears right now, they would be folded down, out to the side in contentment. He knew by now that Kiyotaka had been deprived a lot most his life, if not all of it. He was just happy to see Kiyotaka truly enjoying the simple things in life. Hisoka finally broke out of his food trance and felt Hisoka starring, as the boys had already changed their gaze, to embarrassed to be caught starring. "What is it?" "Just happy to see you enjoying it~" Kiyotaka gave him a quick side glance of disbelief before deciding to just enjoy his hot food.
Killua had picked up on the fact that Hisoka's words held more meaning then the words spoken. Gon had also sensed something off with Hisoka's tone of voice, but couldn't tell what. However they both sensed something off and exchanged a quick glance. They both really wanted to satisfy their curiosity, but see how happy and content the two in front of them looked, they also decided to happily eat their food. They could always ask questions later.
Once they all finished their meals, Hisoka and Kiyotaka led the way to the hotel the boys had been staying in. The boys recognizing it, became a little on edge, not knowing how they could have just known where they had been staying. "How did you know?" Gon asked timidly, a little afraid of the answer he'd receive. Kiyotaka looked over his shoulder and tapped his nose "You're not the only one with a good nose." Gon's reservations seemed to disappear, his eyes filling with excitement instead. "WAH!! Does that mean you were able to track out sent?!" Kiyotaka nodded, "I did." "AH! So cool! Killua he's got a nose like mine!" Gon was clearly excited to see someone with a sense as enhanced as his, not knowing Kiyotaka's was stronger. Killua though, didn't get distracted from the real question.
"what are we doing here?" He asked, finally able to be heard, Gon's excitement having worn off enough. This time Hisoka answered, "You two need to cancel your room reservations and get your stuff of course~" "Right. Of course~" Killua rolled his eyes and mocked. He already knew what the extent of that meant, and he was not thrilled at having to stay in the same place as the psycho clown and his just as messed up pet. It certainly was not on his bucket list. That being said, they really didn't have a choice seeing as it was the only thing keeping the phantom troupe off their backs.
Gon and Killua didn't have a lot so it was easy to gather everything up, and cancel their rooms. On the bright side, it meant they wouldn't be paying for their rooms anymore. Gon was clearly excited to see where Kiyotaka and Hisoka had been staying. Killua also had to admit, he was a little curious himself. Turns out, they had every right to be, it was a nice hotel! When they made it to the room, they were almost happy that things had turned out the way they did. Just the main room was spacious, and the kitchen looked really nice. Both Killua and Gon were surprised it looked as lived in as it did, especially the kitchen seeing as neither of the older two gave off the vibe they knew how to cook.
"Alright everybody, bath time!" Hisoka called out, stepping out of a room the boys now assumed was the bathroom. "What?! I don't want to take a bath!" Killua said, still slightly off put by the company they were in. Gon nodding and stepping in front of Killua slightly. "Kiyo~ get them bathed, I'll run out and get a change of clothes for the two of them." "Didn't they bring clothes?" "They did, but you saw that hotel didn't you? I didn't see a single washing machine so were doing a load of laundry tonight. I will not have that kind of dirt and grim linger around." "Alright." With that Hisoka walked out the door, locking it behind him, the boys relaxing a bit as a result and turning their attention to Kiyotaka. "Lets go." The boys hesitated. Was this really a smart idea?
