As they exited the store Hisoka leaned down, "Now, should we find a place to stay for the night?" Kiyotaka looked back at Hisoka, as cold as ever, before returning his sights straight ahead. Kiyotaka had no idea when or how he would be able to put distance between the two of them. Sure, he had a chance in combat, in fact he was confident he could win, but Hisoka was right earlier when he said Kiyotaka still needed something from him, only it was directions or money, but information. He needed to figure out what gyo and nen are, though he'd already had some speculations. He also wasn't sure if he would be able to form a plan capable of allowing him to escape. Hisoka was strong, and his mental state and process were something that even Kiyotaka had a hard time analyzing and predicting. It truly baffled him, but he felt oddly intrigued and almost exited at the thought, he must be going crazy!
He had already figured he was somehow in a world that wasn't his own. Everything just felt different then how it used to. It felt like a weight of his shoulders, but that could also be because he knew that if he was in a different world, he was forever outside of his father's reach. In his eyes that was the freedom he was looking for.
Kiyotaka stayed silent all the way to the hotel room, letting Hisoka handle everything. When they'd reached the room and heard the door shut, he felt Hisoka's hand getting dangerously close to his butt. Before it could even get there Kiyotaka grabbed his hand, stuck his foot out and spun and he pulled on Hisoka's wrist. Hisoka was on the ground before he even knew what his him. When he registered that he was on the floor and saw Kyo looking down on him with a slight scowl, the most emotion he's seen from the boy so far, he couldn't help but let a sadistic grin slip on to his face. He just heard Kyo scoff and begin to walk off, but before he could Hisoka jumped up and attempted to pin him between himself and the wall. When his hands hit the wall however, Kyo was not pinned between them, instead his was just barely on the outside of his hand. That didn't discourage Hisoka, no, it enticed him more. Hisoka went to pin Kyo again, but this time eye contact was held and his hands moved slowly. Kyo decided to let it happened, but he observed everything. He observed Hisoka's eyes, the way he moved, any twitch of his muscles, his body language. From what he had gathered so far from his temporary companion only looked like he was acting on his curiosity. He chose to let it happen because he was curious what could make the man interested in him, and he also needed to know how insightful the man was, what had he picked up on that made him curious?
There was a minute of silence, both Hisoka and Kiyotaka analyzing each other. "You're more capable then you let on." It wasn't a question. "I don't know what you're talking about" This made Hisoka laugh a little. "You're funny kitten, but we both know that dodge and that flip were't just luck." Hisoka waited to see how the small hybrid would react to him. "From where I'm standing it sure looks like luck." Hisoka wasn't frustrated with his answer like Kiyotaka had expected him to be. Instead, he looked amused. That surely could not be a good sign. "Well since you won't tell me anything, I guess I'll just have to be patient to wait and see it for myself. I mean-" Hisoka's eyes narrowed and his smile grew manically, "We'll be spending a lot of time together from now on." Hisoka dropped his arms and took a step back, his face morphing to one of celebration, "After all I have decided that you belong to me now."
With that one sentence something in Kiyotaka was triggered. He had just arrived in this world. Just obtained the freedom he was looking for. No way was he going to let someone he just met take that away. For the first time since he'd given up emotion he felt one, anger. How dare this man try to stake a claim to him, to treat him like an object just like his father had. In an instant he'd jumped straight up, almost hitting his head on the ceiling. While he was at the peak of his jump he place his feet flush to the wall and launched himself straight at Hisoka. He knocked Hisoka down and pinned him to the floor (If you know the bakudeku fight scene, Kiyotaka's pinning Hisoka how Katsuki pinned Izuku). Kiyotaka had pinned his face to the side and, without even realizing it himself, sharpened the nails on his other hand which were currently being held up against Hisoka's neck. Kiyotaka didn't say anything, not for a while. Hisoka was grinning under Kiyotaka's hand because he was proud of the reaction he'd gotten out of the boy.
It had been at least 2 1/2 minutes of silence and Kiyotaka's eyes staring straight at Hisoka, unwavering. Hisoka could't tell what was going on inside the boys head and it frustrated him, but he did know that the boy was angry. Even if it didn't show on his face, it showed in his grip, and through the actions he'd just taken. Then, finally, the boy spoke, "I do not belong to anyone. I do what I want, when I want. You are not an exception."
