💕 Sorry about this chapter; I know it's too short, but that's all i came up with.💕

The station was buzzing with activity as officers moved about, catching up on paperwork and discussing their cases. Tim, Lucy, and the team were back to their usual routine, though the recent events had left their marks.

Lopez and Wesley were in the break room, chatting about the latest developments. "I still can't believe you got involved in that whole legal debacle," Lopez said, shaking her head.

Wesley chuckled, leaning back in his chair. "Hey, it was a high-profile case. You know how these things get. At least it wasn't anything too wild like trying to blend in as a mime."

Lopez raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, not exactly your usual courtroom drama."

Meanwhile, Aaron and Celina were in the bullpen, discussing the latest squad gossip. "Did you hear about Bailey and John's latest escapade?" Aaron asked with a grin.

Celina rolled her eyes playfully. "Let me guess. They were up to something completely ridiculous and got caught."

"Pretty much," Aaron confirmed. "Bailey tried to set up a surprise picnic in the park, but John showed up in full SWAT gear, thinking it was a tactical exercise."

Celina burst out laughing. "That sounds like them. I swear, those two are a comedy show on their own."

As the day went on, Tim and Lucy found themselves in the briefing room, discussing their current cases. They stole glances at each other, their affection evident despite the professional setting.

Tim finally broke the silence. "So, any plans for the weekend?"

Lucy looked up, her eyes meeting his. "I was thinking of catching up on some much-needed rest. And maybe spending some time with you."

Tim's smile widened. "That sounds perfect."

Later, in the evening, Tim and Lucy found themselves alone in her apartment. The transition from work to personal life was seamless for them, as if they had always been meant to be together.

Lucy had just finished making dinner when Tim walked into the kitchen, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Smells amazing," he said, his voice low and warm.

Lucy turned in his embrace, smiling up at him. "It's nothing special, just a little something to celebrate making it through another week."

Tim leaned in, brushing his lips against hers. The kiss was tender, but there was a palpable intensity behind it. Lucy responded, deepening the kiss as her hands roamed up to his neck.

As they pulled apart, Tim's eyes searched hers. "I've been thinking about us. About our future."

Lucy tilted her head, her expression softening. "What do you see?"

Tim smiled, his gaze never leaving hers. "I see us building something together. Something lasting. Maybe even starting a family someday."

Lucy's heart skipped a beat. She leaned in, resting her forehead against his. "I'd like that."

They stayed like that for a moment, enjoying the closeness. Then, with a playful grin, Lucy teased, "So, when were you planning on telling me you want kids ASAP?"

Tim blushed, looking adorably shy. "I didn't want to freak you out."

Lucy laughed softly, brushing a kiss across his cheek. "Tim Bradford, you really thought that would freak me out? I love the idea."

Relief washed over Tim's face, and he pulled her closer. "Good. Because I've been imagining it for a while now."

Lucy grinned, the warmth in her chest spreading. "Well, you can stop imagining and start planning, because I'm in."

The rest of the evening was spent curled up together, talking about their hopes and dreams, sharing light kisses, and letting the future unfold naturally in their minds.

The following week, a gathering was planned at Bailey and John's house. The event was a casual get-together, with everyone invited to unwind and enjoy each other's company. The house was filled with laughter and the aroma of delicious food.

Bailey and John were busy setting up the backyard for a barbecue. "I hope everyone likes the food," Bailey said, arranging the last of the tableware.

John gave her a reassuring smile. "If they don't, they can blame me. I'm the one who insisted on making the homemade salsa."

Celina and Aaron arrived, bringing a tray of appetizers. "Looks like we're right on time," Celina remarked, her eyes scanning the setup.

Aaron grinned. "Perfect timing for me to claim the best seat."

As the evening progressed, the conversation flowed easily. Wesley and Lopez joined, their stories adding to the lively atmosphere. The group shared updates on their lives, their laughter echoing throughout the house.

As the night wore on, Tim and Lucy found themselves outside, away from the chaos of the party. They sat on a bench under the stars, their hands clasped together.

Tim broke the comfortable silence. "You know, I've been thinking about what we talked about. About our future."

Lucy looked at him, her eyes filled with curiosity. "What do you have in mind?"

Tim took a deep breath. "I want to make sure we're building something solid. I want us to be able to face whatever comes our way, together."

Lucy squeezed his hand, her heart swelling with emotion. "I feel the same way. I want us to be a team, no matter what."

Tim smiled, leaning in to kiss her gently. "Then let's make that our goal. One step at a time."

As the night came to an end, Tim and Lucy headed back inside, their hearts full of hope and their future bright with possibilities. The bonds they had strengthened with each other and their friends were solidified, promising a future filled with love and happiness.
