💕The longest chapter I wrote until now! I hope you enjoy it 😊
The soft rays of the morning sun filtered through the curtains of Lucy's bedroom, casting a warm glow over the room. Lucy stood before the full-length mirror, inspecting her reflection. The intricate lace and satin gown she had chosen for her wedding fit her beautifully, but with the changes her body had undergone post-pregnancy, she had made several meticulous adjustments. The dress had been altered to accentuate her curves, ensuring it was both comfortable and flattering.
She adjusted the strapless neckline, her fingers smoothing the fabric to ensure it fit snugly. The bodice had been tailored to enhance her shape, with delicate lace appliqués tracing the contours of her figure. The skirt flared gracefully from her hips, flowing down to a slight train that added elegance without being cumbersome.
Tim entered the room, his face brightening at the sight of Lucy. "Good morning, beautiful," he said, placing a steaming cup of coffee on the dresser before wrapping his arms around her from behind. "How's the dress fitting today?"
Lucy turned slightly, catching Tim's reflection in the mirror. "Almost perfect. I just wanted to make sure everything is right. I've made so many adjustments... I hope it's enough."
Tim kissed the top of her head and gave her a reassuring squeeze. "Lucy, you look absolutely stunning. I don't think there's a dress in the world that could make you look anything less than breathtaking."
Lucy smiled at his words, feeling a mixture of relief and gratitude. "Thanks, babe. It's just that I want everything to be perfect, not just for us but for everyone who's coming."
Tim nodded, understanding the pressure she was feeling. "You don't need to worry about that. We've got an amazing team helping us, and we've got each other. That's what really matters."
Lucy took a deep breath, her nerves settling with Tim's support. She ran her fingers over the fabric of her dress, making the final tweaks with a renewed sense of confidence. Each adjustment was made with care, ensuring that the dress not only fit perfectly but also allowed her to move comfortably and enjoy the day.
As she finished the final touches, Tim's gaze never left her, and he smiled with pride. "You're going to be the most beautiful bride. I can't wait to see you walk down the aisle."
Lucy smiled back, feeling the weight of her worries lift. She knew that no matter how much she stressed about the details, the most important thing was that she and Tim were starting this new chapter together.
Later that day, Celina and Tamara burst into Lucy's apartment, her excitement almost palpable. She was carrying a box filled with vibrant decorations, party supplies, and a variety of fun items. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and Lucy couldn't help but smile at her friend's eagerness.
"Lucy, you're going to love this!" Celina exclaimed, setting the box down and beginning to pull out an assortment of colorful streamers, balloons, and glittery party hats. "We've planned the ultimate bachelorette party for you. It's going to be unforgettable!"
Lucy laughed, her amusement evident. "Celina, Tamara, you really don't have to go overboard. I'm just glad you're excited about it."
Their eyes sparkled with mischief. "Oh, we're not just excited—we're ecstatic! You deserve a fantastic send-off before the big day. This is going to be a blast, and I'm making sure it's perfect."
Lucy raised an eyebrow playfully. "Alright, alright. What exactly do you have planned?"
Tamara grinned. "Games, dancing, and a few surprises. And trust us, we've got everything under control. You just show up and have fun."
