The sun peeked through the half-drawn curtains as Tim and Lucy's quiet apartment began to stir with the early morning light. Tim, already awake, moved gently through the darkened bedroom to avoid waking Lucy, who was still curled up in the sheets. With careful precision, he prepared a bottle for the twins in the kitchen, the rhythmic hum of the kettle providing a comforting backdrop to the bustling energy of new parenthood.

Lucy stirred as Tim brought the twins into their nursery. Her eyes fluttered open, and a soft smile graced her face as she watched Tim expertly maneuvering through the baby's morning routine. "You're up early," she murmured, her voice thick with sleep.

"Thought I'd give you a break," Tim replied, gently adjusting the babies in their cribs. "Plus, I wanted to make sure everything's ready before you wake up."

Lucy stretched and made her way to the nursery, wrapping her arms around Tim from behind. She nuzzled against him, feeling the warmth of his body. "I appreciate it. It's amazing how we're making this work, isn't it?"

Tim turned to face her, his eyes filled with affection. "Yeah, it is. And I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else but you."

They exchanged a tender kiss, both feeling the weight of their love and the joy of their growing family.

Weeks had passed, and Tim found himself increasingly preoccupied with thoughts of the proposal. During his lunch breaks at the station, he visited various locations around the city, scouting for the perfect spot to pop the question.

One afternoon, Tim met Angela at a quaint coffee shop, where they sat in a cozy booth. Angela, ever the supportive friend, teased Tim relentlessly. "So, Tim, have you figured out where you're going to propose yet? Maybe on the moon?"

Tim chuckled nervously, sipping his coffee. "I'm thinking of a place that's special to us. I just don't know if I should go with the park where we first talked about our future or the restaurant where we had that dinner..."

Angela grinned mischievously. "Why not both? You could do a grand tour of your love story. Or you could ask her in a flash mob—really make a statement!"

Tim laughed, shaking his head. "No way. I want it to be heartfelt and simple."

Angela leaned in, her eyes twinkling with excitement. "Trust me, whatever you choose will be perfect. Just make sure you don't stress too much. Lucy will love it."

As Tim left the coffee shop, he felt a bit more confident, though he was still anxious about making the moment unforgettable. Angela's teasing was lighthearted but managed to keep him on edge, making the planning process both amusing and nerve-wracking.

The transition back to work was not easy for Tim. Each day, he struggled to focus on his duties, his mind constantly drifting back to Lucy and the twins. His colleagues noticed his distracted demeanor, and one day, Grey pulled him aside in the break room.

"Hey, Tim," Grey began, leaning against the counter. "You seem a bit off lately. Everything okay?"

Tim sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, just... trying to balance everything. I miss being at home with Lucy and the kids. It's tough to switch back to work mode."

Grey nodded understandingly. "I get it. Being a parent changes everything. But remember, it's okay to find a balance. Work's important, but so is being there for your family."

Tim appreciated Grey's words of wisdom. "Thanks, Grey. I'm trying to figure it out. And, well, I'm also planning a proposal for Lucy. Just want it to be perfect."

Grey's eyes softened. "She's a lucky woman. And you're a lucky guy. Just remember, it's the thought and love that counts."

One afternoon, Tamara, Celina, and Angela showed up at Lucy's door, their arms laden with gifts and goodies. Lucy was initially overwhelmed by the surprise but was grateful for the support.
