I walked out of the classroom and opened my field guide in order to track my next task: Defense Against the Dark Arts class. "Hey! You're the new fifth year! Do you have a second?" the brunette girl from my charms class said, drawing my attention towards her. "You wanted to talk with me?" I asked as I walked over to the bench and sat beside her. "Well, well, you are the talk of the school. I'm Samantha Dale by the way, and I've been super excited to officially meet you! I do hope your first day here is going well; you seem to be holding your own in charms class at the very least," she said in a kind way. "Well that's kind of you to say, I've been fortunate," I said, a little flattered. "Ha, my brother William wouldn't have been as humble as you're being at this moment. He would've bragged all the live long day had he gotten the same praise you've gotten all day. But you really are a natural, and incredibly humble in comparison. Anyways, I better go and do my homework. I'm afraid that I can't count on luck to impress Professor Ronan," Samantha said as she patted my shoulder and walked away.

I sighed as I got up, realizing that my brother had already left for class, so it was just up to me to find my own way to class. I went towards the Astronomy Tower and I ended up finding a beautiful door with a bunch of weird symbols and other strange drawings on said door. I cast Revelio and saw two other frame looking things, one with a question mark, and another with two question marks. It seemed to be some sort of weird puzzle thing, involving a bunch of numbers and other symbols. After a bunch of head scratching and considerations in thought, the first question mark looked something like a squid, and the two question mark lock looked like a goat. After I finished flipping the locks, the door unlocked and I was able to find some gear and galleons stored in a couple hidden chests. It was a small room, so I went up the stairs and ended up finding a beautiful tapestry across from a wall that was conveniently empty. "Hmmm I have a good feeling I'll see this wall later..." I said to myself as I used Revelio on the tapestry. It revealed a page that said:

"Tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy"
It spoke of a wizard named Barnabas who tried to train trolls to do ballet. He seemed foolish because he tried, but he was remembered for trying to and it was quite funny."

I kept going up, but once I reached the top and realized that I really was lost, I turned around; however, I at least found the floo flame which would be helpful in the future when I would attend astronomy class. I looked at my watch and realized that I was going to be late, so I raced down the tower and finally headed in the direction of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom that was marked on my field guide map. As I ran, another witch ran into me, spilling hot tea all over me. "Ooo ow, that hurt," I exclaimed, causing her to freak out that she dumped hot tea on me. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, are you okay?!?" the blonde girl from charms said as she frantically tried to dry me off with her singular napkin. "I'm not sure that will help much, but I do appreciate the apology and the attempt at cleaning me up." "Hey hey hey, you're at a school full of magical spells, charms, jinxes, curses, magical plants, herbs and other remedies, of course we have something to treat your burn. But, you will have a couple scars, or battle scars as I like to call them," Garreth Weasley said as he knelt down beside me and began dotting my legs and arms with cream, putting a little on my finger so that I could put some on my stomach. He helped me up afterwards, reassuring the blonde girl, Adelaide Oakes as I've been told now, that I was okay. "Ren! What happened, are you okay?" Zander exclaimed, him running over to me and basically shoving Garreth out of the way.

"Was it you Weasley? Did you hurt my sister?" he demanded, with a more intense tone than I'd ever heard as he shoved the red-headed boy against a wall. "Hey, wait a second. Don't hurt him, it was an accident and it wasn't even him who did it. Put him down, right now. Look at me, I'm fine," I exclaimed as I grabbed his shoulders and pulled him off of Garreth, standing in front of Zander so that he couldn't go after him again. My brother had caused a bit of a scene, so I took Garreth over to a bench and sat with him for a moment, making sure he was okay. When he reassured me that he was fine, he left me as I went into my next class. When I got in there, Leander and Sebastian seemed to be dueling for some reason. Sebastian was being really cocky as he said, "Is that all you've got?" He cast another spell towards Leander, causing the skull of a giant skeleton hanging from the ceiling to fall and just when it was about to accidentally crush Leander, our teacher appeared casting 'Levioso', causing the skull to hover over Leander. "Perhaps you'll be good enough to blast yourself to pieces on your own time; I get new students every year, but I only have one Hebridean Black skull. It was my one token from the poacher raid of 1878 where I single-handedly took out a ring of poachers in eastern Wales.
