As I rushed off towards Hecate's classroom, I passed an odd skeleton residing in a glass case. My curiosity got the better of me as I cast 'Revelio', giving me another page that read: "Augurey Skeleton".

"This is the remains of an Irish phoenix found off the coast of Scotland. This bird has the ability to foretell the coming of rain, as well as when death can be expected."

I got a few chills reading it, but more so out of fascination than anything else. Learning about the magical beasts gave me chills; there were so many out there, each with their own abilities...I could hardly wait for the day that beasts class would start. When I had gone out of the castle on the day of Summoner's Court I saw a bunch of pins lining a plot of land to the side of the school. It was near a forest, I assumed the only forest we were technically 'allowed' to go into, and it fascinated me. Fortunately for me, I arrived outside of her classroom right as students began to leave it, indicating that she didn't have another class for at least fifteen minutes, so I knew that'd give us plenty of time to learn Incendio. "Ah Ren, I trust that the preliminary tasks I gave you are completed?" she asked, coming down from her staircase to face me at the bottom of it. "Of course Professor, all finished. Though, it wasn't without its challenges," I let out in reply, immediately going back to my confrontation with Nerida afterwards. "Ah yes, I did hear word about your 'duel' with Nerida Roberts. I heard you defended two of your classmates though, right? Sebastian Sallow and Ominis Gaunt. I will say, I'm glad there is someone who is willing to stand up for the two Slytherin boys, they need it after all they've been through. I definitely am relieved to see that they have welcomed someone new into their friendship.

That aside though, I think it's time for you to learn 'Incendio'. I must caution you though: this spell requires immense, unwavering focus in order to cast it correctly and safely. I cannot tell you how many times I've had to use a water charm, or the ice charm in order to extinguish flames on the school robes of students who learn this spell. Fire is finicky, it has a mind of its own most of the time. It requires focus because you need to be able to control it, rather than let it control you. With my conscious eased after telling you the dangers, I will now teach you 'Incendio'," she explained, motioning me to walk over with her to the dummy. After swishing my wand in the correct pattern, making sure that I was as level-headed as I could be, I cast the spell onto the dummy, succeeding in alighting the wooden wizard. "Very good, it seems that you've gotten it, and not a hair out of place may I add. I definitely commend you on your self-control, you would've done well in Slytherin as well," she added, causing a flush to rise to my cheeks as I excused myself to leave. Knowing another defensive spell, I made my way up to Professor Fig's classroom, nearly running into Ominis before uttering a quick sorry alongside a smile, relieved to see a small smile grace his expression as I passed by him.

I placed my ear upon the wood of the door to make sure there was no class, and unsurprisingly, there was no one in there. I had to wonder why I never stumbled upon a class in here. He was a teacher, correct? It was a curious thought, but I determined that it would be one for another time as I made my way to his office door. I burst through the doors seeing Professor Fig was not at all surprised at my entrance, as he began to slide the papers on his desk towards the middle in a large stack. He was about to come around it when suddenly, Headmaster Black enters into the classroom. I froze in shock, not having seen the headmaster since sorting day, but I quickly pulled myself together so he would be none the wiser on why I was here with Fig. "Professor Fig, you are required to come with me right this second and explain to the ministry more details surrounding Mr. Osiric's untimely demise," he declared, turning on his heel immediately after, expecting Fig to be following him. I glanced at Fig very quickly when he suddenly declared that he couldn't go because he was with one of his students. "Fig, you're schedule will have to wait, indefinitely if you keep pushing against me. I expect you to be in my office, five minutes," he demanded, strutting from the room and assumedly, to his office.
