Path to Hogsmeade

After Sebastian left I was going to go walk with him, but during the duel I had noticed that there was a shimmer and some sort of tinkling noise that had resounded right before Hecat called us to duel. I knew that I wanted to know what it was, just out of general curiosity, so I wandered over to the staircase that she had walked out of at the start of class. I used Revelio and it revealed a page that came out of nowhere at the very top of the stairs that read: "Hebridean Black Skeleton"

> "This is the only trophy that Professor Hecat took from her single-handed battle with the poachers of Eastern Wales.

I found a couple little chests around the room, but since everything else was locked, I left the classroom and stood there for a moment. I opened my field guide and there were two options: 1) Weasley After Class or 2) Crossed Wands Round 1. I decided to go see Professor Weasley, so I put a pin on her classroom so that I could track my way to her room and see what she needed from me. "I'd hate to face Professor Hecat in a duel," Imelda Reyes, a girl that my brother told me about said as I walked by her out in the hallways. As I started going down hallways and some staircases, I found a portrait that portrayed 3 people: 2 younger men, and one in a hooded cloak. It read: "Painting of Illyius"

> "This is a young orphan boy memorialized for his bravery when he ended up saving his whole village, single-handedly, from dementors and a dark wizard named Raczidian using only a mouse patronus and his wit.

I had to pass through the transfiguration courtyard and went into her classroom, and I ended up finding both floo flames on my way over to talk to Professor Weasley. I saw that she seemed to be talking to a small creature before he just disappeared into midair and she gestured me to come up to her desk. "Hello Miss Potter, it's good to see you. I trust that your first day of classes went well? I received some emails from your professors and they seem most impressed with you, Fig has seemed to have taught you well. I'm glad that the ministry allowed him to train you on the basics of spell casting. I still haven't heard anything from Professor Fig, but are you sure there's nothing more to tell me about your brief delay in getting to Hogwarts?" she asked as she finished filling me in on how my professors say that I am progressing. "Has Professor Fig really not said anything more? I'm sure he will soon," I said as she seemed to accept it. "Well, I suppose you're probably right. In the meantime though, I want to remind you to keep an eye on your inbox to see the extra assignments that your professors will be sending over to you," she said as she kept talking about Revelio and Lumos.

"Zander is going to Hogsmeade tomorrow, but I planned on sending you today. But first, Professor Ronan has insisted that you do this first extra assignment before you go since it is most helpful if you want to restore something to its former state: Repairo. Afterwards, you'll be venturing into Hogsmeade to get some seeds, potion ingredients and recipes, some spellcrafts, a few tombs and scrolls for building, and of course, your very own wand. You've definitely seemed to be very proficient with a secondhand wand, but I'm sure you'll find that your own wand is immensely more powerful and will be more attuned to you since, after all, the wand chooses the wizard. How does that sound?" she continued, asking if I was following along well with all of her information. "I'm eager to get to Hogsmeade!" I exclaimed, making sure to smile even bigger in anticipation of seeing another new place, and getting my missing items.

" I figured as much. For your own safety, and since it's your first time there, I wanted to send you with a friend. Maybe Natsai Onai or Sebastian Sallow? I noticed you've been spending quite a bit of time with them," she said, waiting for my reply and approval. "Sebastian, I think. I'd like him to come along with me," I replied, nodding and just giving a little smile so that I wouldn't give off the wrong vibe. "Indeed, Sebastian knows the area very well, and he's also an excellent and very talented wizard just in case you run into some dangerous people. He's more than capable and from what I've been told about you, I can say the same too. But definitely keep an eye out for Victor Rockwood and Theophilus Harlow; they are allegedly partnered with Ranrok, and they are definitely not people you'd want as enemies. It doesn't seem likely that they'd make an appearance, but just be on your guard just in case. Anyways, Professor Ronan is waiting in the transfiguration courtyard to teach you Repairo, and I will make sure that Mr. Sallow is waiting at the castle entrance whenever you're ready to go to Hogsmeade."

As I turned to leave, I heard another twinkling sound and I followed it to a Revelio page of yet another part of the field guide. This one read: "Partial Transfiguration"

> "This goblet merged with a rat is a cautionary tale for students to recognize just how dangerous and complex a transfiguration spell can be. This particular mistake is easily reversable and will be reversed soon, but, not all transfigurations are this simple. Proceed with caution when learning transfiguration spells.

As I walked out into the courtyard, I saw Professor Ronan by the Wyvern Fountain, using his wand to make little paper airplanes fly around the courtyard. I can definitely appreciate how spontaneous and free spirited he seems because I feel like you don't see that as often nowadays, or, at least I know I haven't seen it as often as I'd like. "Hey Professor Ronan, I was told that you have a new charm for me?" I asked as I got closer to him. "Ah yes, the charm Repairo. It's use is to fix things, quite a handy spell since it can fix broken items and other things in the blink of an eye. I just have a couple tasks, as most other assignments from any of your other professors will have, for you to complete before we are able to teach you said spell(s), " he said as he dismissed me to do said tasks and said that he wouldn't be moving from his spot. Apparently there were some pages floating around that needed to be collected, so I went out into the rest of the courtyard and into the library in order to find said pages. It didn't take very long, so as soon as I got back, he taught me how to cast Repairo and had me fix a statue based off young loves' heartbreak. Professor Ronan said that the statue was probably destroyed by a young woman who thought the statue hit her way too close to home and she didn't want that reminder. Afterwards, I set my pin to the front of the castle and made my way to see Sebastian.
