"where the fuck were you the whole night?" audrey fumed as she finally saw bailey sitting down on the couch in the living room.
"with ryan, we were kinda..." she trailed off, raising her eyebrows as audrey immediately gagged.
"okay i do not need to know anymore," audrey raised her hands in mock surrender as she took a seat next to bailey, she took a deep breath. "i might've done something,"
"what?" bailey furrowed her eyebrows, her mind immediately thinking of the worst thing. "did you and chris—"
"no, no, no," audrey immediately stopped her, she didn't even want to hear the end of that sentence. "i kissed benj."
"oh my god!" bailey exclaimed, her jaw dropping to the floor— she wasn't sure if she just heard her correctly.
"like four times." audrey added and bailey gasped even more.
bailey stared at audrey in disbelief, her eyes wide with shock and excitement. "four times? oh my god, audrey!" she practically squealed, grabbing audrey's arm. "what happened? how did that even start?"
audrey bit her lip, suddenly feeling a bit self-conscious about the whole thing now that she was saying it out loud. "it was just... the heat of the moment, you know? we were hiding from ruby, and i thought he was about to get his ass kicked, so i just—" she made a vague gesture, her cheeks flushing as she remembered how impulsive she'd been.
bailey's eyes gleamed with curiosity. "and then what? you just went for it?"
"pretty much," audrey shrugged, trying to play it cool but failing miserably. "it was kind of insane. he was just standing there, all clueless and cute, and i—well, i didn't really think. i just... kissed him."
"cute?" bailey shook her head in disbelief, to think that three days ago audrey almost threw up at the sight of him. "and four times? girl, you must've really liked it."
