Part 14: Bring It On

GRIMM REAPER'S POV

It was now midnight and I'm sitting on top of a building eating some food to build some energy for me to stay up throughout the night for my daily night patrol. Quite honestly, I've been getting extremely tired lately and I haven't eaten much lately but I staying as strong as I can to do my night patrol. Once I was done eating, I started to walk around looking down on the ground to see if anything is happening. Soon I started to soar in the air using my grappling hook to get to other buildings. I continue this until I heard a scream from a man. I quickly ran and saw two men trying to rob an elder man who is on the ground. I quickly put my mask on and jumped down behind the two robbers and threw them forward. I looked down at the elder man which he is staring at me with shock and fear. I held my hand out to the man and he grabs it letting me pull him up to his feet.

"Thank you," He whispered.

I nodded before putting my attention towards the two robbers. They stared at me in fear before running away. I looked over at the elder man.

"Go.... Home," I said to him before using my grappling hook to fly onto the build to go catch the robbers.

I started to run as I looked down at the robbers. Once I got to a good distance ahead of them, I jumped down in front of them to which they screamed in terror falling to the ground. I then proceeded to pull out my knife walking towards them.

"Please! Please don't kill us!" One yelled out.

I went to swing my knife at the first guy until suddenly three cars suddenly pulled up in front of us. The cars' door swung open to reveal.... Oh you've got to be kidding me. The three cars consist of Mr.Gibbs, Agent Dinozzo and David, Derek and two of his teammates, one being his boss, and Olivia with her partner and two other guys.

"POLICE! Put your hands up in the air!" Derek's boss yelled out.

The two robbers went to put their hands up while I stared at the scene. Jesus.... How interesting...

"Put your hands up where we can see them!!" Olivia's partner said looking at me.

I stared at them giving them no response.

"Hmm. What should I do to get away from this situation? They have guns so I can't really try to fly away without getting shot. Maybe a form of distraction...?" I thought to myself.

"Grimm Reaper, surrender yourself and put down your weapon. You lose," Mr.Gibbs said.

I turned towards him and tilted my head.

"Lose?.........To you?" I said with my voice changer. I watched as how some of them tensed up from hearing me.

"Yes you did. Now put down your weapon and put your hands up!" Derek's leader said.

".....No," I said.

Without warning, I quickly grabbed the handle of my knife and threw it at them. The ones close dodged my knife getting the other agents and cops attention which gave me the time to grab my grappling hook and shot it into the air towards two buildings away.

"SHE'S GETTING AWAY!" Someone shouted.

That's when I heard multiple gunshots from them near me. Luckily I didn't get hit by any of them. I soon landed onto the building and started running and jumping from each building. As I did, I can hear the cars those agents and cops were using driving to get close to me.

"I need to out of these clothes and disguise myself so I can get to my hotel. I stopped running once I thought I was far enough and took off my mask and goggles. Luckily this building has a door on the roof so I just leave. I then pressed a button on my new tech watch and it immediately got rid of my suit and replaced it with normal clothes. I left out of the roof and went down the stairs. I sighed.

"Glad that's over. I thought it was all over. But at least I'm safe", I thought calmly.

I continued to go down the stairs until I found an elevator to take me all the way to the ground floor.

GIBBS' POV

I clenched my jaw angrily. The Grimm Reaper was right in front of us. We were THAT close and we still failed at arresting her. We all stopped driving when we no longer was able to see her on the rooftops.

"Well this sucks," Agent Morgan said.

"This wouldn't have happened if we just had someone sneaked attack her like I said would have helped," I said angrily.

"And put one more person of danger of being The Grimm Reaper's victim. Not a chance," Captain Cragen said.

"It wouldn't have been a problem if said someone had a weapon themselves," Ziva said.

"Alright everyone, enough. Look, we can try again. But this time we need to talk to those two people she was about to kill," Agent Hotchner said.

I sighed as we all agreed. We got back into our cars and started to drive away. This whole thing is pissing me off. But no matter what, I will get you Grimm Reaper.
