The New Superpower?

(A/N: Map by end of February 1642 (1943)

Italian Empire, Milan, February 10th 1943

Milan had seen a massive transformation since 1940, becoming a Industrial Powerhouse for Italy's main Tank Source, by 1943, they alone produced 20% of Italy's daily production alongside 25% of their Cars.

Due to this, it was one of the Largest cities in the Empire, with a population of 2 193 000, Which was only 1000 less than Rome, The 2 Cities alone amounted to almost 7% of the combined population of 63 Million.

But today, Mirishrial Diplomats, were going to see the pinnacle of Italian industrialization. It was a ploy to show them how powerful Italy was despite their smaller size.

At the St-Constantine Tank Plant, The Mirishrial Diplomats started their tour. The loud noise of the Tanks being built was something they were not use to. The Size of the tanks impressed them. However, they quickly noticed something that confused and angered them.

Women working in the factories. In the Mirishrial lands, Women rarely, if ever, had jobs in factory, being kept at home, where 'They belonged' according to the Holy Mirishrial Empire. Italy shared a similer view, but not to that degree.

Italy or more accurately, The Government saw that Women were needed to employ in the workforce, which was losing manpower due to the war and military buildup. Laws to pay them fair wages were created to drive them to work.

Even the Italian Women found wanting to work a strange and new venue. Morality, Family, Religion and Marriage was all that Italian Women knew, the modern age being slow to adapt their new roles granted to them.

In the St-Constantine Tank Factory, of the 3000 Workers, 1050 were Women. 

Mirishrial Diplomats openly told the Italian Diplomats what they thought about allowing Women into the workforce, to which the Italians responded with: 'When at war, all in the state must do their duty'

The Tour continued, where they saw a P-18/43 finished being put his turret on. The P-18/40 was deemed to be outdated, where the new 75mm Tank cannon was added to it, alongside with new Machine Guns and engines, making it faster, deadlier and stronger.

The other Italian Tanks were given the same treatment, with many being now over 3 years old, in need of replacement for stronger tanks. when the Mirishrial Diplomats asked to see one move, to take a short video of it, using Magic, the Italians allowed it.

As the P-18/43 drove away, it was placed next to a much, much larger tank, Which was nearly 4 times the size from the look of it. The Mirishrial Diplomats yelped at the sight, they had never seen a Tank that size before, not even on paper.

They quickly asked Italy what it was, to which the Italian Diplomats cracked a grin.

This was the P-80/43 Super-Heavy Tank, part of the 1st Super Heavy Tank Division, Italy's only Division of the type. As Italy was entering a Tank Era of Modern, Moderate Tanks which served all roles, The Government wanted to create at least 1 Super Tank Varient.

The P-80/43 was Akin to the German Secret Project of the Tiger and Tiger II, Which they were only made aware upon taking over the German Diplomatic Office, finding the Blueprints.

After some revisions and changing some things, the P-80/43 began to be made.

The Armor was Thicker than any other tank, with the Chassis having a frontal armor of 22cm, It was armed with a 120mm Anti-Tank Gun, able to destroy a P-26/43 from a distance of 5 Kilometers. It also had 3 15mm Machine Guns.

The Tank was 4 Meters wide and tall and 8.8 Meters long without the Barrel, With the Barrel it was 12.2 Meters. It had a 880 Horsepower Engine, allowing it to reach a top speed of 40KM/H, with the average being 30KM/H.
