Diplomatic Meeting (1)

Kingdom of Milus, Amanico, August 4th 1639 (1940)

King Milus V looked at the foreign 3 Battleships with terror in his eyes, the RN Romulus , the RN Impero and RN Roma, Even at 35 Kilometers away, the 3 battleships seemed as close as right in front of the King, the City of 200 000 was totally at their mercy.

The Kingdom of Milus was a small island country, made of 2 Islands just 400 Kilometers from Papaldia, with a Population of 1 Million and Not many resources but wool, silk and rum, The Islands as well were only both as big as Sardinia Each.

The Country did not have that large of Industry either. Meaning they had no reason to be seen as a target by anyone since Papaldia's doomed war, which afterwards, Papaldia said they woudl always protect them due to the treaty.

Now, the Kingdom of Italy had shown up to its doors and demanded that they be allowed to build Bases on their land, their King to swear loyalty to their King and 18 more demands such as contorl over the economy and government.

This was 3 days ago, King Milus V was going to refuse them and get Papaldia to come to their aid, but then events in Sios changed everything, the Island country near Lauria, which had a population of 550 000, was also made the same demands, their King, Darius III also refused.

This was the wrong choice as Italian Carriers, all 5 of them, recently joined by the Ark Royal, now RN Constantine II and the RN Constantine III. They were just outside their Radar range, loaded their Planes with heavy bombs, all 200 planes then bombed the capital city of Sios.

The flames raged for 2 entire days, the city was turned to ash and 50 000 died, another 100 000 were made homless, half the city was just gone. On the 3rd, General Messe landed with the 6 Naval Infantry Divisions, taking over the Island that day without a single fight.

King Milus V had every right to be afriad, more so since Papaldia might not be willing to come to his Aid this time.

Papaldia was trading with Italy alot, which helped them recover their economy, Meaning Italy in Milus created not 1, but at least 7 different problems for Papaldia and the world.

King Milus V was truly alone. In a Few minutes, he would meet the Italian Diplomat, which would give their demands and expect a answer.

As he was waiting, a messenger came to him with a note. He took it and began to read it, the contents made him crack a small smile.

''Riem Plans on attacking us after the Fall of Mao''

This was perfect, because now he had something that Italy did not know, War. If he accepted and Riem attacked them, Italy could be forced into a war against the rising superpower. This would then allow Milus to get Papaldia to come to their aid and turn the tide before anything happened.

King Milus V had formulated a plan, trick Italy into thinking they were now their masters, get attacked by Riem and when the 2 of them of fighting and dying, get Papaldia to come to their aid and free them.

King Milus V was deep in his plan that he did not notice that his Aide had entered the room.

''The Italian Diplomat is here Your Majesty'' His aide said

King Milus V nodded as he was led to the room, upon entering it, he was struck by smoke and laughter, the 2 Italians were talking to the Maids while smoking, seeming to try and get them to come with them.

His Aide coughed and the Italians turned to meet them, they did not rise nor did they show proper respect.
