Muish State, Alue Front, Alue, September 1st 1643

Marshal Kan Hoth looked as the Kanish soldiers, passed by, pulling many bodies of their fallen comrades. Most of them had broken uniforms, They were tired, hungry and most of all, alone and sad. Operation Mercury had taken a heavy toll onto the Kainish forces in the north.

After the first day, Marshal Messe and the Italian forces of the Alue Front, continued their advances. Even as 150 000 Kanish soldiers arrived, nothing stopped them in their ruthless advance across the entire front.

By day 7 of the attacks, they had linked together, closing 588 000 Kanish soldiers and 81 000 Magicarreich Soldiers in a Huge pocket in Alue. It was a complete shock to the Kanish forces, suddenly they were now exposed in the north.

On July 18th, Attila called a Military Meeting in Leiforia, Asking for solutions to save Marshal Kan Hoth and the 6th Army, with Marshal Kan Hiller, Offering to pull back the front in the north a bit, sending forces to the Alue front to acheive a front once more.

But his plan also involved having the 6th army and all 669 000 Soldiers to launch a break out to rejoin the front. In Effect, letting Alue fall to the Allies.

Attila nearly exploded in rage at this. In 8 days they had lost 50 000 Kainish killed or captrued, alongside 110 000 Magicarreich soldiers, The Gap was now 54 Kilometers at the shortest, time was of the essence.

After many hours, it was decided that the 6th Army and all forces it had aquired, would break out on the 24th, 2 days after the Kainish forces in the area began their assault. But they would leave behind 250 000 of their soldiers to fight to the end in order to keep the enemy pinned.

But the 100 000 Maricarreich soldiers and roughly 200 000 Kanish soldiers in the area were in rough shape, which meant that they needed to act quick. After rebuilding the front and pulling over 40% of their forces of the most northern front, they were ready.

On July 22nd, they attacked, catching the Italians off guards, more so as it stopped their offensive dead in the tracks. 2 days later, the 6th Army launched their own attacks. It seemed that the Italians had failed in their gambit, losses were mounting and they were losing ground quick.

But in the Far North, the Papaldians and Muish forces were now in a advantage, the enemy forces had dropped from 1 200 000 to 720 000, while their forces had grown from 1 000 000 to 1 600 000. With this, they unleashed Operation Mercury II, the 2nd part of a proposed plan.

This caught the Greater Kanish Empire off guard, as well as the Italians, which was their saving grace. At the same time, Mu launched a concetrated attack in the south with all their new armoured forces, driving the Kainish back with heavy losses.

Marshal Messe continued to fight the 2 fronted attack. On July 30th, both Kanish groups had reached a thin point where they were mere kilometers away from each other, all that was in their way was a small town, if it fell, the trap would be undone.

The scene of the battle was Near a small town of Gallai, Later renamed to Tankgrad by Russo-Italian Ivan Guido, was the scene of untold savagery. Tanks clashed in very intense quarters, where the range of the average firing range was 50 meters.

In a small town, 3500 tanks from both sides clashed, over 2300 were destroyed by the end of the day, everything in flames. But what was seen as far as the eye could see was Ivan Guido, dying, but holding the Italian flag over the town hall.
