LIBRARIES were always the peaceful places to go when one wanted to think, but for Cassia, a library was the place she would go to, to hide. If there were nowhere else she could go — apart from her dorm, this would be the girl's second resource.

In her hand, she carried the magical blue book. It had repeatedly been glowing since the morning and she didn't know why. Her thoughts were cluttered with Salos having to tell her something, or that the wizard discovered that there was a voice after her.

She would've stayed in her room, but Jane had reserved it for her and Carlos. The pair had decided they would have a movie night.

Her eyes shifted all around the library, and not seeing many faces she relaxed. She wouldn't know what to do if someone caught her talking to a book. It wasn't the old times anymore.

Her vision never paid attention to where she was walking when she bumped into a girl.

Cassia was quick to apologize, "I'm so sorry," She murmured glancing at her fastly before she continued her path.

The brunette always loved to sit on the end corner of one of the bookshelf aisles. Nobody really would go toward that end, as that was where the philosophy books were. Cassia could feel the book in her hand move, turning a brighter hue of blue.

When she reached the end of the aisle she wasted no time in squatting down and opening the book. The page that was filled with inked letters began to shift into the room that by now she knew very well.

"What happened?" Cassia was brisk to ask, her voice in worry. She wasn't used to the wizard calling her, as it was usually her to be the one.

"I sense something," The wizard came into frame, "Something big," he announced, only creating confusion for the girl.

A look of tugged eyebrows covered her face, "What are you talking about?" Cassia asked in a perplexing matter.

Salos spoke again, stressed, "I can't see what it is." He bit his lip in anger as he balled his fists. "There's a spell involved in here. Some sort of... shield."

Cassia knew nothing about spells or sorcery magic for the matter. So whatever it was that was being used in order to keep a shield up from Salos was big.

"Well, everything is fine here. I'm sure you just need to relax." She released, her tone calm but Salos didn't seem so.

Cassia's eyes looked at the screen of her phone, it had lit up with Elliot's contact on display.

"I have to go. School stuff." Her eyes glued back to the book as she stood up, her hand going for her bag.

"Right. Be careful Cassia," The Wizard warned In a low tone. He didn't want the girl to be or get involved in any of this.

"I will." She tried to sound as convincing as possible. "Nothing bad is gonna happen." She asserted.

She watched how the page began to turn back to its normal state of inked letters. With her hand grabbing the end of the book, she closed it and grabbed her phone, quickly clicking the green button.

"Hello?" She answered. By this point, she had already begun to walk to the front door of the library.

"Where are you?" Asked the son of Rapunzel from the other end of the line.

The girl licked her lips, "I came to return a book to the library." She looked down at the book in her hand. Cassia shortly thought about putting the book in her bag.

"Okay, well, Evie called and she wants to have a movie night in her castle this Saturday," Elliot explained, his voice sounding static from the other line.

It was Thursday.

"Oh, okay. I'll go." Cassia answered, she used her shoulder's force to push the door open to walk out.

The nice breeze made her hair blow behind her as she walked. Her breath hitched at the feeling of this, her mind regretting not wearing a sweater for the sudden cold. Cassia kept the hold of her phone next to her ear as Elliot spoke.

"Alright, cool. I'll see you later." Said the boy into the phone.

"Okay, bye." Cassia removed the phone from her ear pressing the red button and ending the call.

Her sense immediately thought back to what Salos told her. He sensed something but didn't know what, could it be the voice? That's the only thing Cassia could think about.

Nothing else out of the ordinary was happening in Auradon. It had to be that. And It only made sense for Salos to be able to sense it. But, why would it want a shield?

And nothing had happened, the voice was still just disturbing her during her sleep, and sometimes during the day. So whatever big thing that was going to happen hadn't happened. At least not just yet, and Cassia hoped it stayed that way.

Whoever had that invisible shield that Salos was talking about obviously didn't want him to see. This could only mean that whatever or whoever was behind it, it didn't want to be eradicated.

"Cass!" Evie's voice appeared out of the blue making the brunette turn.

"Oh, hey E." She smiled greeting the girl. "What's up?"

"Did Eli tell you about movie night?" She inquired, her rhythm became synced with the girl's steps.

Cassia nodded before giving a verbal response, "Oh, yes. Thank you for the invite by the way." She turned to the daughter of the Evil Queen with a smile.

"Of course!" She squealed, "And just a heads up," She started, a smile growing on her tinted lips, "Harry is going." Evie did a sing-song voice glancing every so often toward Cassia.

Of course, he was going.

"Okay." The brunette simply replied.

"So nonchalant." Evie gasped in joke with an open-lip smile. "Chill up a bit." She nudged her arm softly.

Cassia furrowed her brows, "I am chill." the girl spoke in a snarky tone. It only caused Evie to giggle.

"I'll see you around." She kissed the girl's cheek goodbye.

Cassia waved, "Bye."

The brunette didn't need Evie to tell her that Harry would be there. For some reason, she already had a feeling, she didn't how or why. Maybe because it was Evie? Or maybe because the group had become closer it was logical for him and his friends to be there.

It didn't matter. She just knew.
