NARNIA. The place where magical creatures used to exist, where the trees used to dance, and where people of half animal half human lived, though everything changed after years. The trees ceased to dance, magical creatures were extinct, and the Fauns and Centaurs were barely ever seen now.

You would have to be lucky enough to see one these days.

As for Narnia had become more, modern.

Cassia had arrived in Narnia this morning, she was happy to be back at home. The carriage that was taking her home was passing by the village, and everyone simply knew who was inside.

"The princess is back!" Villagers were gossiping, seeing that the Princess of Narnia was back in town.

Cassia waved at everyone who would see her from the window, a bright smile on her face. The bumpy ride to the castle was enjoyable, as the roads in Auradon were smoother, this only made Cassia feel even more at home.

It all came to a stop when they reached the front of the castle, the doorkeeper rushed over to Cassia as he tried opening the door for her.

"Welcome home, your Highness." The guard bowed as Cassia walked out of the carriage.

"Thank you." The girl thanked with a warm smile glancing around at all the grass and birds flying everywhere.

She didn't waste a second rushing to the castle, her shoes coming in contact with the wooden material, the halls were as empty as she imagined. A few maids were walking around stopping by to welcome her, but she began to walk around trying to find her father.

She looked at the frames on the wall, pictures of her, her father, and the two of them.

Her thoughts were disrupted by the voice of who she was looking for—

"There she is." Caspian walked into the hall of the castle catching Cassia's sight away from the paintings.

"Dad!" Cassia ran over to the king, who waited with open arms as she launched herself into them catching her with unbalance.

"I'm so happy to be back," Cassia murmured on her father's shoulder.

"Me too. Is it me or have you grown?" Caspian pulled back to look at Cassia who smiled at him, she wasn't sure if she did.

"Maybe." She shrugged not caring.

King Caspian couldn't be more than excited to have his daughter back home. He would spend most of his days alone in the castle when not going on voyages or doing king duties, so having Cassia's company back was good.

"How's Auradon treading you?" The king asked as the two of them began to walk the corridor, they weren't sure where they would go, but, they would see in the end.

"It's great. Everyone is just so nice." Cassia nodded at her true statement.

"That's great. Any adventures?" The girl's ear perked up at the question, her mind immediately going somewhere.

"Uh—" She couldn't say that she had gone to the Isle and that there she met a boy that she had been dreaming about. "No, it was all school."

Simple.

"Ah." Caspian chuckled lowly. The two of them walked around the halls of the castle, picture after picture. Until they both came into a room.

It was the room where her father kept everything he could ever keep and have. A golden sculpture of Aslan rested on the wall, bookshelves around, and she noticed the bow and arrows and sword of the Queen and King of the Golden Age, Cassia felt weird even graving them.

Just the thought of that bow and sword being held by two of the most important people in Narnia gave Cassia goosebumps.

She moved later to the seven swords on the wall, the seven swords of the seven Lords. Caspian had been lucky in keeping them after everything that happened the day the Dawn Treader crew, Edmund and Lucy defeated the mist.

Cassia passed her fingers through the pattern that was engraved on the silver.

"You still have that fair in you?" Caspian asked behind her, watching how the girl passed her fingertips through. "Think you can try and finally beat me?"

Cassia chuckled at the idea of it. "I'm actually quite a bit rusty, but I can try." She turned around to face her father who had a raised brow at the sound of his daughter contesting him.

"Is my own daughter challenging me into a quarrel?" Caspian questioned with a cheeky smile on his lips.

"She very much is." Cassia grabbed the sword from the wall, pointing the tip of the weapon toward the king.

"Fair well," Caspian snickered raising his chin. "Let's take this to the garden." He grabbed his own sword, King Peter's sword, and walked over to the door motioning to Cassia to go first.

The girl did as followed as Caspian walked behind her, the two heading for the doors that lead toward the garden. They weren't far, from the room they were in, it only took a couple, maybe two turns for Cassia to reach the handles of the door.

Her arms pulled the gates to her, feeling the breeze hit her, her lungs instantly filling with the wind — oh, how she missed this.

Her sword rested next to her. "You think you'll be able to handle it, old man?" Cassia teased lightly.

"I may be old, but I can still fight very well." The king got in position flipping the hair off of his face.

"Oh, let's see if that's true."
