Someone had thrown a blanket on Amberly after she'd fallen asleep in the library. The couch was so comfortable she wasn't ready to wake up, but something licking her face was determined that she did.

"Titus down." Damian spoke firmly to the black dog that was as large as him. "Good boy." He patted the dog's head once it sat and provided a treat from his pocket.

"Morning," Amberly said sitting up. She offered a hand to the dog, letting him smell her palm before scratching behind on of his ears. "What a cutie."

"Tt. He is a fierce guard dog." The dog barked at Damian, giving his own opinion on the subject. "It is good to see you are well, though Pennyworth says you are to stay home today and rest."

"Don't be silly. Are you leaving for school soon? I can get ready."

No sooner than Amberly's feet hit the floor was the butler walking in with a tray of tea. "I'm afraid I must insist that you refrain from attending class."

"It's fine really. I feel up to going."

He sat the tray down on an end table next to the couch and poured a cup of tea for her. "I will be the judge of that. Until you have a clear bill of health from the doctor or myself, you'll be taking it easy. I've already called the school so you can relax Miss Amber." Alfred knelt down to fix Damian's crooked tie and patted him on the shoulder. "Master Damain, I do believe your brothers are waiting on you to leave. I'll walk you down."

Alfred was serious about her not attending school until she was healed. Once she finished the tea, he returned to help her back to her room where Amberly took a long hot shower. Alfred insisted that she take the rest of the week off, offering to have Tim and Duke collect her work from school so she wouldn't fall too far behind.

The downtime proved to be valuable. With a regular meal schedule and time to catch up on all the sleep she had missed out as Spider-Woman, Amberly could feel her strength increasing to a higher status than ever before. Her senses were sharpening. No longer was it as difficult to interpret their meaning.

When a stray knife was headed straight for her head, Amberly was not only able to duck, but catch the small object mid air and calmly hand it back to Damian who had been aiming for Tim.

She wasn't really sure what all that was about, but Bruce swooped in to handle the situation before she could ask.

Amberly was under the impression that Alfred was beginning to notice how much food she could consume too, if the look he gave her when bringing a second helping of dinner was any indication.

"I'm used to cooking for quite a crowd. If you want more, please ask, there's always lots of leftovers."

True to his word, Alfred always had snacks for her when she was hungry and never scolded her for getting into the fridge for a late-night snack.

She wanted to get back out there as Spider-Woman and see what she was really capable of. Thoughts of doubt lingered in the back of her mind though. What if she caused more harm than good? At least with the excuse of not returning to the streets of Gotham until she and Harley created a new suit, Amberly didn't have to make the decision yet.

Amberly's first time leaving the manor came when Dick offered to take her, Duke, Tim, and Damian out for dinner after hearing about the knife incident. He claimed they needed some sibling bonding time and took them out to a small diner that served greasy burgers and shakes, reminding them not to let Alfred know he'd gotten them such unhealthy food.

"I do not think a salad can be considered terribly bad for you Richard," Damian said poking at some lettuce with a fork. She had learned that the boy was a vegetarian, which made sense with how sweet and affectionate he was to the house pets when no one was looking.
