It's been a bit of time since I updated, but I'm excited to post this next chapter. I can't wait to hear what you think :)

Amber clung to Superboy's shoulders as they flew to the LexCorp research facility. Glancing behind, she smiled when Beast Boy winked at her. The boy had transformed into a green crow, soaring and swooping between the Titans as they traveled.

Instead of taking one of the many transports available to them at the tower, it was decided that they'd fly themselves instead, in an attempt to remain as discreet as possible.

About twenty miles out, the group landed behind a gas station. Raven and Beast Boy kept an eye out from above while Amber, Kon, and Cassie staked out the scene. They spotted a van that they agreed would be easy enough to hotwire and made their way over.

Cassie broke the driver's window with the side of her arm, letting the gauntlets she wore bare most of the impact. Seeing leaves mixed in with puddles under all of the other cars in the parking lot but absent underneath the van they were borrowing, Amber assumed it had been there for some time and the owner wouldn't miss it.

Once Cassie had the door open, she climbed inside and unlocked the back doors for everyone to pile in.

"Where'd you learn to hotwire a car?" Cassie questioned as Kon got under the steering wheel.

"Tim taught me," he replied, causing the van to fall into an awkward silence.

Red Robin's missing presence was felt by them all.

Amber wished she'd been able to convince him to come along. Even without Tim there in person, his warnings and training still had a great impact on the decisions they'd made thus far.

He was right about brute force not being the best method. Which was why they planned to park the vehicle they'd borrowed in the forested area near the wired fencing that surrounded the facility.

"Alright give me three minutes," Amber said typing away at the laptop she'd brought with her when they came to stop. Vague blueprints could only do so much, and if they were going to find this amulet, having someone keeping an eye on security cameras would be essential.

"I still think, I should go in with you. If something goes wrong, it'd be a lot better to have me on the inside then out here," Kon suggested once again. They'd already discussed him staying behind to monitor the cameras in great length.

Cassie shrugged on a shirt over her costume, as part of the disguise she'd be wearing. "You're too recognizable, especially if we ran into your dad."

"Plus, I only made IDs for us four," Amber said as she pulled out the fake badges she'd made. They had everyone's picture on them, but besides her own they were only for show.

Amber's contained Marie's encryption that combined with her biometrics should grant her access to anything Marie had without altering the LexCorp system to the creation of new identifications. In any case, she wouldn't be using it if she didn't have to.

Getting Marie into trouble was not something Amber was keen on doing, feeling hopeful for the life her doppelganger had.

"We've got to draw as little attention to ourselves as possible," Amber reminded them. "In and out without them ever knowing, which means no familiar faces and no using powers if we can avoid it." Lex Luthor wasn't dumb, and their unique powers would be a dead giveaway to the group behind the heist.

On her way out of the van, Amber caught sight of her reflection in one of the side mirrors. She had picked up a pair of glasses as the last touch in turning herself into her doppelganger. It reminded her of the frames she'd worn before gaining her powers, and Amber wondered if she'd have to go back to wearing them again if she gave up everything that came with being Spider-Woman. Maybe she would finally try contacts.
