I tried to fall asleep after Ash told me that Jasper was missing. I could hear the croaking noise of the frogs, and I was the only one in my bed. I wished mom could still sing me like when I was still a kid, and Jasper was beside me.
She used to do that. Now, I was a teenager. It was just as sad as scary it was. Knowing you were all alone. I couldn't sleep, I chatted Emily about Jasper 's disappearance, she told me that she would come to my house on Sunday because she would have a family trip to Ajuy. I informed Frankie as well in chat. So, maybe I could find any detail to Jasper 's last whereabouts. For thirty minutes, I was just checking reels on my phone, and then watched a video on Youtube.
It didn't bring much comfort. I couldn't get rid Jasper in my head.
I was worried over him. Like real worry. I knew I hate my brother to death but if anything happens to him. I would not forgive myself. It took me until two in the morning to get the Grimoire from the library.
I scanned the pages. To the witchers.
Witcher mystical magic, inherited from their parents, but their powers grow as they age. Often their supernatural abilities are exhibited in early childhood, but they activate around their young adulthood.
I was reading it to the part of the political body of the Witcher's council when I drifted off to sleep.

My eyes flew open when I heard someone was knocking over on our gate, the Grimoire sat on my chest. I placed it on my computer table.
I strolled over to the window and found Ash walked out of the house since he was always the first one up or maybe he didn't sleep like I did. The man was leaning against the gate, watching Ash headed cautiously. He was around Ash's age or was he much older than the rest of us? He reeked of old age, of old knowledge. Unlike Jose, who had been human, and sadly little known magic. Basing on the scar on his right arm, Trevor had some battle experiences.
"You have the guts to show up here." Ash clutched his hands tightly around the man's shirt as he slammed him against the door of our house. "Where can we find our brother?!"
The young man let out a short laugh."If you let me go and do as what I've told you last night, you will have lesser problems."
Ash let him go. "You should've not meddled with us."He smirked as he dusted off his shirt. "Besides, I can get through the wards. Safe to say that I am totally your cutie friend in your cutie mission."

"What was that about?" Dylan asked. "Was the demon going to join us?"
"Demon? Chillax, Dylan. He's a human."
"He's literally a demon, Z.""Oh." I said. "That would against everything we've ever believed in."
"Yeah." Dylan said. "You guys haven't heard stories about him like I do." He turned to Ash. "What did he discuss to you anyway?"
Ash told us the story last night.
Dylan smacked his forehead."You meddled with Trevor?"
"It's either that or be torn into shreds by a powerful demon."
"Try not to panic, Dylan." I said. "At this point, these are desperate times, we have to rescue Jasper ."By seven in the morning, we were all seated in the library. I hadn't eaten anything since last night. I hadn't even slept properly. My stomach rumbled again at the sight of donuts. Ash and Trevor bought four coffees, one pancake and egg rolls at a nearby breakfast stall.
"And how can you enter?" Ash asked, pointing the iced coffee at Trevor. "At first, I thought you were an aswang."
"If I was an aswang, I couldn't get pass the garlic and the inferior magic ward earlier." Trevor said.
