I decided to take part in a writing competition. But no normal competition, it's the Commonwealth. This means doing well enough means I'm going to meet the king of Britain! Couldn't be more exciting right?

Even while writing the poem, I would never forget the memories made while preparing the poem.

"Crystal, come here, I would like to talk about your poem," my literature teacher said. I came to her side as she showed me the poem.

(The vibe my poem had when I first wrote it)

She spent half her time talking about how the poem sounded more like me scolding a child that failed his test because he had played video games for 4 hours a day, not like the sweet mannerisms she was used to. Then she found out I was assuming another time, and told me to "just say it." She also gave me other tips, which guides me to a smooth submission.

I had the opportunity to sit with Siti for the last session. Whilst juggling between a journalism assignment and a new game I learnt about from a junior, it was a fun time socialising. I interviewed Siti about what she thought about a new national exam and she shared her thoughts about it. She then talked about her past and how she made the best decisions in her life to take literature with social studies. (I later learnt she didn't this because she didn't wish to take an 8th subject)

We then came to realise both of us had the similar of the world doing injustice to us with terrible people, and crafted ways of implanting wallpapers on their contacts. And if that's not had enough, we still see them. We're close, but it's not like I was assuming the scenarios of people that weren't even real. Because what I was talking about with my friends was real, and that's why making many new friends at the cost of loneliness beats having just one friend. It gets super predictable after some time.
