3 Faith is the most academically inclined class in my level, but 3 Peace had one of the best connections within the class and was the most athletically inclined class in my level. We got along despite our differences, but getting along with them during the exam season was easier said than done.

"Crystal, I know you just wanted to say hi, but not now, ok?" Lucas asked me politely. I nodded and was forced to retreat back to 3 Peace, as I could understand his class wanted to do well more than mine. Yet at 3 Peace no one wanted to talk to me too because they were all cramming last minute information into their brains. It saddened me to see that no one wanted to socialise with me but I was quick to snap out of it. This was exams we're talking about, and was going to make up most of our grade. I decided to just cram some information into my head instead!

"Wait, shouldn't you go back to class before your next paper?" YZ asked me out of concern. "I don't want you to be late."I could've protested, but I knew 3 Faith was where most of my true friends belonged*. Hence, I coolly replied, "Yea, you do have a point. See you around!"
When you're a social butterfly, EOYs can be a very lonely period for you. You can only stick with one group of friends because you know all the other groups are all down with revising. It doesn't get better with the "hierarchy" of classes like a science class or arts class like my cohort. But what could I do other than to focus on myself and study rather than chase after socialising? Sometimes it's the little things that count towards a better tomorrow, so hopefully choosing my own studies over socialising would give me a better tomorrow.
If you truly want to know if it gave me a better tomorrow, please keep on reading for more!
*this information would become VERY important in a later chapter
