Tw: disturbing dental procedure imagery that involves blood

Rushing to the dentist towards the end of Chinese lessons, I happened to run into Fawn who was going the same way as me. We then bumped into one of her two younger brother, pint-sized and bespectacled. The friendly girl I was, I waved to him by instinct and she confirmed that the boy I had waved to was her youngest brother.

Crystal: oh, all three of you are in different houses?
Fawn: yea.
Crystal: wow, I didn't know that's possible for siblings with an age gap. Knew they only did it for twins. My siblings and I don't count though.
Fawn: right. You mentioned they go to some boys school, yes?
Crystal: yes. Also I wonder how you went from Amethyst to Mustard when changing between schools*
Fawn: oh that? I don't really know...

We soon arrived at the primary school dental clinic, where I gathered with my friends. They chatted, and I just sat there. Fawn and I exchanged a few sentences here and there, but because we hadn't gotten a chance to interact properly then, that was it. YX happened to be seated nearby, and was watching My Little Pony on her phone.
Fawn and I decided to watch a bit of that show too because we both loved that cartoon when we were younger. That was until my classmate JY asked me to get ready for my dental visit, which was an absolute nightmare.

"Your teeth look dirty," he remarked. He then use his mirror to examine my mouth, and admitted even my gums were dirty, thereby announcing he would scrap all the dirt from my mouth out.
It was the most tedious dental procedure I ever had to endure. The toothpick he used to scrap the dirt out felt more like continuous cat scratches. Answering his questions to customise the ideal dental plan for me didn't make things any better. And for the first time in my life, I smelt fresh blood in my mouth. I internally freaked out because he eventually presented me a mass of blood from my mouth.
It turned out I was at risk of gum disease so he taught me the technique of brushing my teeth properly so that my gums would be even cleaner and then I was dismissed.

For the first time, I had a meal with Fawn and her friends. Usually I stick with my best friend and her friends but they are all in a different class. We gobbled down snacks like popcorn chicken and the like and then rushed for our next lesson. The most chaotic dental visit in my life so far, huh?
