3 Love (CJ's class) and 3 peace did not share the same recess time, so I'd usually spend the second half alone. But Farah's class, 3 Joy, had the same recess slot as me. There was a day where we could talk because I popped by. And with the reunion/extra time to chat, I had a conversation that made me realise how far I've come in my social pursuits.

Crystal: maybe you were right. Showing that I didn't mind PE was the key to have more friends
? Nods

Crystal: so what do you take now?

?: Bio, History, A Math

Farah: so yea how was school? Coping?

Crystal: that's my line

Farah: well I'd say it's fine. Maybe not really for the chemistry.

Crystal: me too.

Farah: and how about art? Heard you failed last, last term

Crystal: haha I passed the previous one.

Farah: that's good. I hope your hands are better now.

Crystal: should be. Last term we focused more on other skills like charcoal and colour pencils.

Farah: haha, I'm glad you don't have to do hands anymore. They looked like cartitature when you posted it for the status. But the most importantly of them all, how well are you getting along with your form class?

Crystal: a lot better than before~

Farah: No more side eyes?

Crystal: no more side eyes, PE's more doable now. It's more fun now.

Farah: I'm glad to see you actually take part in it. I remembered losing my cool towards you because you didn't want to participate. Then again, you weren't as outgoing then.

Crystal: you did?

Farah: yeah.

Crystal: that totally slipped my mind~ I guess after joining NDP I wanted to focus on what was in front of me.

Farah: that's good. You're not just coping academically, but you're finally living socially. I'm glad 3 Peace accepting for you and didn't ask you to stick with the other Crystal. Speaking of her, why did you unfriend her?

Crystal: she got super clingy. Like she spammed 37 messages in my DMs just so she could get me to be her partner for the issue investigation.

Farah: ah, I see. But at least you're speaking with more positive self-talk now. I hope the best for you even though we'll be seeing each other twice a week, still. See you, next lesson.

Positive self talk? That was kind of unexpected

Positive self talk? That was kind of unexpected. But that was a good sign, because that meant being a social butterfly was slowly but surely providing the healing I greatly needed when pursuing my childhood dreams.
