"Are you sure you really want to do this? It looks scary," Roop asked me for what felt like the twentieth time, her concern evident in her tone.

"Never been more sure in my entire life," I reassured her, a smile playing on my lips. "I want to feel the waves, Roop. I've dreamed of this moment."

She sighed, her worry not entirely gone. "Alright, go ahead, but please be careful."

"I will," I promised, my determination unwavering.

As I glanced back, my eyes found Ishaan. He blinked at me in silent encouragement, and I nodded in return, feeling a surge of confidence. Today marked the fifth day of our trip, and while everyone else was busy soaking up the sun or playing games, I was drawn to the ocean. Surfing had been on my bucket list for as long as I could remember, and I wasn't about to let the chance slip away.

Grabbing my surfboard, I walked away from the lively, chaotic surroundings of the beach toward the designated surfing area. The sound of the crashing waves grew louder, filling me with both excitement and a slight nervousness.

The instructor gathered all the interested participants, his voice firm yet reassuring as he began outlining the safety measures. "Remember," he said, his gaze sweeping over the group, "do not go beyond the fence. The waves are unpredictable and far stronger out there. Stay within the marked area."

I gripped my board tightly, his words etched in my mind. This was it-the moment I had been waiting for.

We listened attentively as the instructor guided us, carefully strapping on our safety gear before grabbing our surfboards. As we moved closer to the ocean, the sound of crashing waves filled the air, and an unfamiliar fear started settling in the pit of my stomach.

"Now bend a little, place one leg on the board, and use the other leg to push yourself into the water. Loosen your body, then place your second leg on the board while balancing your upper body, like this," the instructor explained. With effortless grace, he demonstrated, gliding skillfully over the waves. We all broke into applause, amazed at his mastery.
