This girl is insane

This girl is insane. She made me jump out of the room through the window. The cruise I booked for my wedding, the decorations, everything was arranged for me—and she made me do this.

How embarrassing it was to explain to the worker who saw me climbing out of the window in disheveled clothes.

Crazy woman.

But never mind all that. I just want to remember the way she reacted when I got hurt. Well, I faked the injury, but I wanted to store her reaction in my mind.

My heart warms at the thought of her care for me.

Why does she act like she doesn't care?

Why can't she just confess?

How much longer do I have to wait?

I changed into a new tuxedo—a navy blue three-piece suit that fits my body perfectly. I fixed my hair, put on my watch, and spritzed the same perfume. Every time I apply this fragrance, it takes me back to that day.

All these years, this scent has made me feel like you're always with me. This simple fragrance has been my companion, keeping me going. My oxygen.

I made my way to the party area, taking in the surroundings, and I must admit, I'm impressed with the arrangements.

But then my heart aches at the thought of me and Ahana—back when we dreamed together of tying the knot, of living peacefully and happily. Now, ironically, the woman I once envisioned a future with is the one organizing all the details for my fake wedding.

My eyes roam at the surroundings and get stuck at Rajveer Mehra. I hate that this unkempt animal keeps rambling around my woman. I feel like chopping off his filthy legs and giving sharks some good food.

I took slow, measured steps toward him, determined to have a calm and composed conversation. Trust me, just a calm conversation.

"Looking for something or someone, Mr. Mehra?" I asked, voice laced with a slight challenge.

"Oh, hi. Yeah, I was actually looking for your wedding planner. She seemed quite engaged when talking to me a few hours ago," he replied, a smirk tugging at his lips.

This bastard knows exactly where to strike. I clenched my hands in my pockets, trying to keep my composure.

"Yeah, she's fond of dogs and animals, maybe that's why," I replied, throwing a smirk of my own. I watched as the change in his expression was subtle but unmistakable.

"Someone looks jealous," he teased, a playful glint in his eyes. "Well, I don’t blame you. Every man desires a woman like her. I mean, who could resist such beauty?"

He said in a menacing tone which disgusted me to my core. The fist in my pockets is waiting to break on this motherfucker's jaw but I have guests around me or else I would have poked this glass of wine he is holding into his eyes. My body is burning with fury and I pointed my finger at him while taking a step closer to him.
