Age -18

"Careful Ahana it's too dark" Ishaan warned and held my hand .

Can we pause the time right here , it's true that sometimes a stranger can make you feel home than your real name sake home.

From the far I can see the lustre of the ocean .

Stars have landed in the ocean .

All glittery and unreal .

I let go of Ishaan's hand and ran towards the briny .

The swing of the water played a soothing music in my ears and I layed down on the shoreline .

" Can I stay here for life " I sighed

" You can enjoy beaches anytime you live in mumbai " Ishaan said .

" I know but this feeling of away from chaos where I can be myself and don't pretend and relax . I can't find this anywhere else "

" So may i assume that the person we've lived with these five days is not real " Ishaan asked .

"Uhm yes you can " I hummed

I can feel ishaan's gaze on me .

" I know you'll never judge me that's why I chose you to come here with " I say looking away .

" And why do you trust me so much " Ishaan asked .

" I trust my heart aur mera dil kabhi galat nahi kehta " I said looking straight into his eyes .

I've thalassophobia but I won't mind drowning in his brown eyes lighter than the bark of tree but darker than the sand .

We laid there for a while in silence with a sound of waves.

I didn't realise that we were holding our hands this whole time .
