Calum

  Fuck, this was so good!!!

I had no more pain, ache or suffering. I felt as light as a feather, covered in what seemed to be the softest sheets, my body filled with a blissful state of calm, relaxation, warmth and....

What the fuck is going on??

I gasped, instantly opened my eyes and got up.... I could see and move again. I was alone in our bedroom, in the tree house, nothing different... I hurriedly looked at myself, black hair cascading from my head while looking down, my skin young again, I could strongly close my fists, my form filled with strength and energy... I was normal again. But... how? What the fuck happened?

Vlad!! Where is Vlad? I asked myself, looking desperately around the room, not noticing any trace of him or the twins, but they were all here just a minute ago. I got out of bed and started screaming his name, rushing my feet throughout the house, the need to find him growing painfuly as panic was bubbling inside of me.

"Vlaaaad!" I yelled over and over again, opening every possible door, looking even in the closet, maybe he was thrown there by the mercenaries, but he was nowhere to be found.

"Vlaaad!" I yelled again and now I wanted to look outside, but once I opened that door.... I saw nothing, just a wall of warm foggy light hit me...nothing visible behind it. A chill instantly swept my body, my knees wanting to buckle, my panic rising to unknown levels. This was a first to me, I never panicked, I was always in control.

"What the fuck is going on?" I whispered, not understanding a single thing, nothing was making a fuck of sense. Where is Vlad? What is this? it's just...

My heart was aching because I didn't have him close, a sense of helplessness making itself known, something I was, again, not familiar with, I always knew what was going on, I was the element of surprise, not the other way around, I hated not knowing, not pulling the strings.

I racked my brain up to review my last memory. One moment I was on my bed, watching my wonderful fated dangling helplessly and terrified from the ceiling and then... and then...

My mind was bombarded by the scenes and I remembered the mercenary, a new guy, his frightened look while he had obliterated my core...

"Fuck.... I, I am..." I silently said, eyes wide as the sun itself when I was hit the by the realization of what happened.

"Dead." another voice, close behind me, finished my sentence. I jumped startled and turned around not knowing what to expect seeing, but who I saw was definitely a surprise.

"Who the fuck are you?" I asked him angrily, because no way in hell anybody would see me scared again. Stiff as a board I was watching him close, taking in every details of this....entity, person?

It was obvious he was a vampire, dead or alive, I had no fucking idea, but he was imposing to say the least. His hair was absolutely the longest hair I've ever seen, slick and pitch black, pale, glowy skin, but his eyes...were like nothing I knew existed, dark red irises were staring at me, a small smirk on his face. That color was not common for vampires, we usually had very light shades, almost white, with different hues, black or dark grey rings, but never red, nothing was red about our eyes. He was a handsome fellow, but that was not what was kind of fascinating about him, but rather his pose. He had a tall, strong and straight frame, shoulders back and chest out, chin held high, poised and elegant, one hand held at the back and one in the front, closed in a relaxed fist, right below his chest. He was impressive and I was not an easily impressed kind of guy.

He oozed power, his dark ruby suit with a black shirt, fitting his perfectly proportioned body.

His smirk was growing and that was annoying me to no end, but he finally graced me with an answer.
