FLASHBACK
Like other kids in the country, every Saturday at 7:30am, while his parents would clean the house, Balin would sit on the couch with a bowl of cereal or a plate of toast, turn on the TV, and watch a popular children's programming called 'The Saturday Magpie.'

Just like 'Kids' WB' and 'Saturday Disney', this show aired cartoons from different networks such asFairly OddParents, Phineas and Ferb, and The Jetsons.
There were also some adult-animated shows at some occasions, but luckily, it didn't show cartoons such as Family Guy and Rick and Morty.
A/N: AND just for fun, even Helluva Boss.
Instead, it only showed mild adult cartoons that kids around Balin's age would find interestingly funny, like The Simpsons.

PRESENT-DAY:
Today, the day after introducing Loona to his family, was the first time Balin watched the whole program since coming to Hell.
The hosts of the show, Mandy and Teddy, waved to the cameras live on the TV set, scattered with pillows, candy, and stars.
"G'day kids!" the hosts greeted with smiles and waves.
"Have we got such a fun day all lined up for you!" said Mandy enthusiastically. "And I'm sure our comedic friend, Mack the Magpie, couldn't agree more in all his excitement. Couldn't you, Mack?"
The hosts then stepped aside to reveal the show mascot passed out on pillows behind them. ...At least the kids thought he was sleeping.

A/N: I know that's a partridge to some readers, but just imagine it's a magpie.
"Looks like it's still early in the morning for some birds." Teddy improvised. "So while we 'Wake Up, Mack!', here's some Futurama to start the day off. See ya's in a bit."
