Ch.119 - 😈 Dinner With the Big L Himself 😈

Everyone in Loona's apartment, even her four hound party friends, were all flabbergasted to hear from his daughter that Lucifer Morningstar had invited the I.M.P crew to the Hazbin Hotel for a dinner where he could meet Balin, who had a more stunned expression on his face.

"Lucifer... w-w-wants to meet me?" he stuttered quietly.

"Yep." smiled Charlie. "The big D himself! D stands for devil."

"But... why?" asked Loona, her ears slightly going down in concern.

"Well... word is, a little ducky told him that about this adorable little fella that a hellhound brought into the... somewhat comfort of her home after saving him from the cold Earthy streets, and how he's become a big talk of all seven rings of Hell. Especially for his angelic SIIINGIIING!" she explained with a sing-song voice to finish it off, before clearing her throat and whispering with a wide smile. "And guess who that little ducky was. Me."

"Meh, that checks out." shrugged Loona in response.

"So... I take it Lucifer wants us, because we're with the kid, and that... somewhat comfortable hellhound?" asked Moxxie, making Loona show a flabbergasted expression to him.

"That, and I did tell him about the fine work you do for our realm." the princess replied.

"Whoa, whoa, hold your horses, princess!" said Blitzø, rushing and jumping from behind the couch to get in front of everyone. "With all due respect, while we are flattered for your big guy giving a shit about us, finally, but the last time we met with another 'big guy', we ended up barely escaping with our lives. At least... two of ours." he then pointed at himself and Stolas.

"Oh, I'm sure it isn't like anywhere near like last time, Blitzy." the owl demon assured him lightly. "For one thing, there is a dinner involved."

"That does sound like a good sign." shrugged Blitzo.

"What happened last time?" Balin then asked Loona.

"Oh, it's a long story, honey." Bee replied to him, making Loona sigh in a little relief. "But long story short, uh... I.M.P used the Grimoire as a top secret..."

The imps and hellhound quickly gestured to Bee to make her stop talking, in case the answer scared Balin a little.

"...Secret." she finished.

"It's okay, Bee." Balin interrupted him, getting an idea. "I remember them telling me all about Mastermind Day."

"Thank Satan you didn't mention how we almost got...?" Moxxie was about to finish before Millie quickly jabbed him with her tail in worry.

"Sorry, hun." she whispered to her husband in some guilt, as his mouth foamed from the sting.

"Oh no." Balin then said. "Am I in trouble, Charlie?"

"No, cutie-patootie. Of course not." Charlie soothed him. "I've seen how people in your world portray my dad and he's not exactly the... killer image, you think he is."

"Yeah. And I've met him a few times too. He's actually quite the rad dude." said Via.

Stolas then released a little chuckle. "Rad dude? Such an odd idea for a compliment." he said.

"Then... you mind if Stolas and Via tag along?" asked Blitzø. "For protection? Just in case?"

"It didn't exactly go well for me either, Blitzø, but..." Stolas was about to finish, when Charlie interrupted him.

"Deal! The more, the merrier...!" she sang. "Besides, Blitzø, hotels are a place where people for forgetting worries. For one night. So... no worries about the day!"
