Minutes later...

Balin started waking up slowly, feeling very groggy after passing out from his sugar rush at I.M.P's celebration social.

It was after he finally opened his eyes where he soon noticed, he wasn't in the office anymore. He was now out on the streets of Hell. He checked to see if he was in his hound disguise before looking down to see he was a few feet off the ground, like he was flying on an invisible bed.

That was until he saw two paw pads walking on the concrete, and he looked up to see it was Loona cradling him like a baby as she was carrying him back to the apartment.

"Well, my oh my." she chuckled. "You're finally awake."

"*Yawns* how long was I asleep?" asked Balin. It wasn't hard to spot he was still feeling tired.

"Around 40 minutes. *Whispers* Personally I think you're a lot cuter that way, little baby." she teased him tracing a claw through his hair, making him blush and giggle.

"So where are we going now?"

"Home for the night, little meal." she replied. "You clearly look like you could use an early night tonight."

"No I don't." he weakly protested. He then tried to hold very still. Loona noticed and giggled at this cute sight.

"Kiddo, what are you doing?" "Trying not to yawn..." he kept his breath in.

Loona laughed at this as she then ducked into an alley where no-one could see them. Looking around to see if there was no-one in the alley as well, she then started tickling his little tummy.

"Tickle, tickle, tickle!" she cooed, as Balin's face turned purple trying to hold the laughter in. "Come on. Squirm for me, runt."

At last, Balin couldn't hold his laughter in and let out some breathy giggles before yawning. Loona stopped tickling him after she saw the yawns and giggled a little herself.

"OK. I am ready to go now, Loona." sighed Balin.

"See? That wasn't so hard, huh?" she chuckled, as she kept on walking from the alley.

"I'm sorry for all that back there." the boy lowered his head, feeling a little guilty for causing a ruckus with the cake.

"Nah, don't stress it." smiled the hellhound cradling him. "Tends to happen with all the little guys out there."

But in saying that, Loona did show Balin a slice of the M&M and KitKat cake she saved in some Glad wrap for him.

This made the boy pant like a dog and nearly salivate a little as they returned to the apartment.

AT LOONA'S APARTMENT...

Loona was busy preparing some dinner for the night, as Balin did the last of half his English homework for the night.

Whenever they weren't ordering burgers or pizza, they'd usually share some 2-minute noodles. The typical snack or dinner for young adults moving out of home.

There was one flavour of noodles the demons of Hell fancied the most, and it was called 'Mom Left.'
