"Y/N/N?" Stark asked as I picked my eyes up off the floor of the meeting room and looked up at him, "mission report?"
"There were a couple dozen super soldiers in the room we entered through, all were in kyrofreeze; when we left the room we took down three hydra soldiers, one shot at me so I moved out the way and it hit one of the chambers, it broke the glass and she got out," I explained slowly.
"She knew-" Clint started before I sealed his mouth with my abilities.
"What? What did you know?" Steve asked, leaning forward.
I shook my head, "I knew where the information was being kept."
Stark nodded slowly, "did you get the usb?"
"Yeah," I exhaled, throwing it across the room to him as he caught it, "this means there's more super soldier seerem out there."
"I should've been the only one," Steve told us, "they've got a supplier that's making more."
"So we need to find them," Clint sighed.
I felt Wanda hook her ankle with mine under the table as I looked over at her, my chest rising and falling quicker than normal as she furrowed her brows and quirked her head. I shook my head and looked back down to the floor, focusing on the pattern of the wood underneath my feet, counting every single slab until the meeting was over and I walked out with one thing on my mind, Wanda running after me.
"Slow down," she huffed, grabbing my wrist to stop me, feeling my shaky hands in her own.
"I need to go to Natasha," I told her, pulling my hand away and walking off again.
"No, stop," she complained, running after me faster and slipping into the elevator before the door shut, reaching to hold me again.
"Stop! Stop touching me," I breathed out, pushing her away as she stopped the elevator and crushed the buttons with her abilities so I couldn't kick it back into gear.
"Will you just stop and take a breath?" Wanda sighed.
I shook my head quickly, "why the fuck would you do that? I need to see Natasha."
"You can talk to me," she sighed, softening her gaze as my breath picked up and I shook my head.
"No I can't- you don't get it- I need Nat-"
"Hey, hey, look at me," she whispered, cupping my cheeks as I pulled away until my back hit the wall, "breathe Y/N/N."
"Why the fuck would you stop the fucking elevator, Nat's the only one who can help- fucking fix it," I attempted to shout but it just came out as quivers as I placed my hand to my chest and scrunched up the material of my suit, "please fix it."
She sighed but shook her head slowly, coming closer to me as I closed my eyes tightly, dropping down to the floor as she placed her hands on mine and shushed me.
"It's okay, I promise, it's okay," she assured me as my hands went tingly and I shook my head quickly.
"Wanda, fix the elevator," I cried, opening my tear stained eyes as she softened her gaze and pulled me into a hug that I tried to fight but let take me.
"Calm down, you're safe, you're okay, I promise it's okay," she whispered, holding me tightly as my breathing in fact did slow down and the feeling in my hands came back, "you're okay detka, just breathe deeply."
As I let out a final deep breath, she slowly pulled away and cupped my cheeks.
"What happened on the mission?" she asked quietly, sitting down in front of me.
I shook my head again as I let out a shaky breath and looked to the floor, "I- I can't-"
"Hey, look at me," she smiled sadly, cupping my cheek to move my eyes to hers, "you're okay, you can talk to me."
"The super soldier that got out," I exhaled shakily.
She nodded for me to continue.
"It was Rebeka," I spoke quietly, releasing another shaky breath.
Her brows furrowed as she searched my eyes, "not the same Rebeka who died-"
"10 years ago," I finished with a nod, "she's been dead for 10 years."
"Are you sure it was her?"
I nodded, "it was definitely her, I mean, she was blonde and older but she was exactly the same, she just ... it just didn't seem like there was much of her left."
"How is that possible?"
I shrugged by shoulders as I leaned my head back against the wall behind me, "she's been alive this whole time ... I saw her die, how is she still alive?"
"She was with Hydra," Wanda replied quietly, searching my eyes, "I knew they had other people they were testing on ... I just assumed they all died."
"You think she was in Sokovia?"
"I don't know, maybe; I don't think it's in the realm of impossibility," she whispered, "either way-"
"The last 10 years she's been suffering on her own," I exhaled.
"Maybe we do need Nat," Wanda admitted, starting up the elevator again.
"I needed Nat to stop me from having a panic attack but that ships sailed now," I replied, standing up before Wanda joined and reached to hold my hand as I clenched my fist and pulled it away.
"I just wanted to be the one that helped you..."
"Yeah well I'm sorry but Nat's known me longer than I've known myself so she's the only one that can do that," I explained, not even looking over at her.
"But I did help Y/N/N," she said quietly, her eyes burning holes in the side of my head, "I know you hate to admit that you showed an ounce of weakness and that I helped bring you back down but shock horror, that's what happened. You're not the only one having a hard fucking time, I hate being in America, I hate that my brother died, I hate that no one ever asks if I'm okay or how I'm feeling about everything that's ever happened to me and I hate having to fight for your attention all the time. I told you I loved you and I opened myself up to you but none of that matters, does it? All you care about is Natasha fucking Romanoff ... I'm never gonna be enough for you, am I? I'm just wasting my fucking time-"
"I LOVE YOU TOO," I shouted over her, turning to look into her eyes as her mouth shut and she breathed heavily.
"What?" she exhaled, searching my eyes.
"I. Love. You."
She shook her head slowly before stopping the elevator again.
"God, you love stopping this thing, don't you?"
"You're just saying that because-"
I cut her off by kissing her fiercely, holding her face in my hands as she exhaled out of her nose and kissed her back with the same passion, her hands falling to mine on her cheeks as her lips lightly parted for me. I exhaled heavily, as she started up the elevator again, the two of us lost in each others mouths until it stopped on our floor, the doors opening to the entire team stood there. Stark was holding a tool kit as Nat cupped a mug with Maria next to her, Steve and Sam proceeded to exchange a look. I dropped my hold of the girl in front of me as she smiled slowly and we stepped apart. Clint, Bruce and Vision all trying to find other things to look at.
"Hey," I whispered.
