"So you made up then?" Nat asked as she joined me in the knife throwing room.

"Sort of, I think so anyway," I nodded slowly, throwing the final knife in my hand before turning to face her, "she was pretty pissed off."

"Yeah I got that much, when you both left the room it felt significantly lighter," she laughed out her nose, "the poor spider kid had no idea what he walked into."

"You need to make her feel like she's not competing with you," I replied bluntly.

"Me?"

"There's only two people in this room," I nodded slowly.

"What's your relationship got to do with me?" she asked as I raised my brows at her, "she's jealous? She's jealous of me?"

"Of course she is," I sighed, "you and I both know that what we had going on wasn't anything like what I have with Wanda but she just feels unsettled that you've also got to see me in that same vulnerable way."

"You've told her we're just friends, right?" Nat checked; her arms crossed over.

"I've made it pretty fucking clear but she's just ... she's very anxious and I think she's unsettled that we're so close, she sees you as a threat," I confirmed, walking to grab all of my knifes from the models before putting them away and looking back at Natasha who was oddly silent.

"Can I talk to her?"

"About this?" I checked as she nodded, "umm I dont know, I don't know if I was supposed to tell you; she has this whole thing that she thinks I'm more open with you and Beka than I am with her."

"She sounds like she's a bit of a-"

"Don't say whatever you're thinking of saying, she's still my girlfriend," I cut her off.

Nat shut her mouth and nodded slowly, "I'll make it clear that we're just friends."

"Thank you," I exhaled with relief, looking behind her at where Beka was kicking Bucky's ass in the boxing rink, "how's she getting on?"

Nat turned to look at her too with a small smile, "come on," she spoke, pulling open the door where we stood and moved us over to Sam who had just passed Bucky a bottle of water.

"Who's winning?" I asked.

"Me," both Bucky and Beka said at the same time.

"He's thinks he's winning but he's not," Beka smiled down at me.

I smiled back to her and gave her a nod of approval, "go for his ankles, they're his weak spot."

"Ankles," she nodded along, turning back to Bucky who was building up a clear sweat as Beka looked as good as ever.

"She looks healthy," I said to Nat who hummed in agreement as the gym door opened, Wanda and Vision coming inside.

When she saw me stood next to Nat, she froze slightly in her place and searched my eyes. Without a moments thought, I dropped what I was doing and walked over to her, not separating our eyes for a second until I was cupping her cheeks and kissing her harshly. She exhaled shakily from her nose and kissed me back with the same force for a few seconds before pushing me away with a small giggle.

"Hey," she smiled softly.

"Hey," I smirked back to her, lifting her chin up and kissing her lips one final time before I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and lead her over to Nat and Sam.

"Is that Beka?" Wanda asked.

"Doesn't she look amazing?" I smiled down at her as she nodded in agreement.

Beka had really begun to come into herself. I think it helped she was now allowed the freedom to wander around the tower like it was home and she had mealtimes with all of us. Her and Bucky have been getting closer as well now he's living in the tower with us, it's been quite sweet to watch them blossom as they both had the same experience of a system like Hydra. Her hair was still platinum blonde but it was healthier and somewhat glowing like a halo around her head as her body had gained back the muscle it was lacking before. She had even taken off her jumper and was sparring Bucky dressed in a sports bra, the most vulnerable parts of her body on show. A smile had also become a pretty permanent feature on her face and although she'd never admit it, it was clear she fit in perfectly with the team dynamic.

"You've created quite an audience Beks," Bucky laughed slightly.

"The people love me," she smirked, throwing a hit to his chest as he grabbed her wrist with his mental arm and twisted her around so her back was pressed against his front.

His mouth hovered next to her ear as she closed her eyes and let out a shaky breath, Bucky whispering something to her as her lips curled into a slow smile.

"I feel like I'm interrupting something," Nat whispered to Wanda and I, not taking her eyes off the pair in front of us.

With Bucky clearly distracted, Beka elbowed him in the stomach and used his metal hand to climb upon his shoulders, wrapping her legs around his neck and taking him down to the floor, her body straddling his as he smiled and tapped out.

"Nicely done Doll," he nodded slowly as Beka climbed off him and helped pull him up to stand.

"You did alright considering you were against me," she teased, leaving him in rink as she climbed out and grabbed my wrist, pulling both me and Wanda over to the benches.

"What was that then?" Wanda smiled to her

"I dont know what the fuck was that, I feel really hot, is it really hot in here?" She exhaled quickly, fanning herself with her hand.

"No I'm actually pretty cold, Wanda?"

"Yeah me too," she smiled, "Beka I think he-"

"Please please don't say it," she sighed, looking past us to Bucky who, when I turned to look, was already watching her.

"There's so much sexual tension it's ridiculous," I laughed out my nose.

"No I'm not ready for that," she shook her head, "I haven't even had my first kiss, I don't know what I'm doing; has he ... done it before?"

"Done what?" Wanda asked with a smile, "had sex?"

"Shhhhh," Beka hushed, raising her brows, "don't say anything about this to anyone, please."

"His head was just between your thighs, the whole team already knows Beka," I laughed out my nose.

"We were sparring!" She justified.

"Who was?" Bucky asked from behind Wanda, making her jump ever so slightly.

"No one," I replied.

"Okay," Bucky smiled slowly, looking between the three of us before settling on Rebeka, "I was going to make some lunch, you free?"

"I uh- yeah- yeah I- um- lunch, yes," she stuttered with a nod, pulling her hoodie back over her head and standing up to follow him to the door but not before she turned to me and Wanda and gave us a small smile with her cheeks pink.

"So she is human," Wanda confirmed.

I giggled slightly and nodded, "she's human."
