"Right," Wanda exhaled, sat by my side, her hand on my thigh as Nat sat oppsiute us, clearly uncomfortable with a mug in her hands, her eyes looking down into it as she relaxed back into her seat.

I exhaled sharply and looked over to my girlfreind who was nodding slowly, trying to figure out how to put this into words as she shook her leg up and down, her hoodie moving around with her as she sat uneasy, looking and waiting for Natasha to look up at her.

"Yes?" Nat finally asked.

"You're going to back off," Wanda told her harshly, "I've played the nice guy, I've tried to be your freind but I'm past that now ... I'm not going to sit pretty while you keep trying to make moves on my girlfriend because thats what she is, in case you forgot-"

"I didnt do anything when you guys were toegther," she cut Wanda off.

"Doesn't matter, you knew she was only recently on her own, two fucking days Natasha," Wanda sighed, "it's taken me a good few weeks to even let Y/N/N close to me again, I know she's sorry, I know why she did what she did but what I don't understand is why you did what you did."

"She made the move on me," Nat informed her.

"I know," Wanda nodded, "we've spoken about it funnily enough, she made a big fucking mistake but I'm more angry at you."

"You have no right to be angry at me, I'm not your girlfriend and I'm clearly not your freind," she bit back.

"You knew she had the Darkhold," Wanda replied with raised brows as Nat flared her nostrils and looked over at me before looking back to Wanda.

"I did."

"And you did absolutely nothing to stop her," Wanda nodded slowly, "this book has eaten her alive and you knew about it, you fucking knew about it and you didnt do anything ... you saw what it was doing to her, you almost lost her because of it and you did nothing ..."

"Say what you want to say, you're clearly holding something back," Nat breathed out.

"You're a fucking coward and an awful friend, I can't believe you sat back and did absolutely nothing whilst she was struggling like she was," Wanda sighed.

"You didn't do anything either."

"I didnt know what she was doing," Wanda replied quickly.

"Mhm," Nat hummed and with a nod, "do you think there's a reason she told me and not you? Because I'd unpick that before you rip my head off ... there was two people involved in this thing and I seem to be the only one being interrogated."

"Nat," I exhaled as she looked at me and I shook my head slowly, "Wanda wanted to talk to you about this, we've spoken about it every single day since we got back together but she hasn't spoken to you so please, just answer her questions."

"She didn't want help," Nat answered quickly, looking back to Wanda, "I tried to help her, I tried to get that god damn book off her but I couldn't ... you can't help someone who doesn't want help and I think you know that because this little meeting has nothing to do with the Darkhold and it has nothing to do with magic ... this is about your own insecurity and your blatent jealousy that someone else had sex with your precious Y/N."

"All of this has to do with the Darkhold but you're right, I'm fucking fuming that you touched her, so fucking mad I can't even express it but you took advantage of the fact she was hurt and you used it to get back at me ... that's why you slept with her isn't it? Tell me it didn't cross your mind how much this would piss me off."

"I slept with her because we were both missing something, we have never had sex for the purpose of hurting anyone, it actually doesn't involve anyone but the two of us and Wanda, I'm sure she's said it too, but every single touch is superficial, none of it has any feeling attached, I need you to know that," Natasha sighed, "she was struggling, I was upset at her, we were alone and then our lips were toegther-"

"Spare me the details," Wanda scoffed, taking her hands off me and leaning her head in her hands.

"I didn't stop to think," Nat continued, "it was in the moment and I promise that it wasn't until afterwards that we both realised what we had done, why do you think that's the only time it happened? The second the room went quiet, she started balling her eyes out-"

"Tash," I cut her off, shaking my head again.

"No, she deserves to know," Natasha sighed, leaning across the table to look at Wanda who I could see out of the corner of my eyes looking between us with her brows furrowed.

"What?" Wanda asked quietly.

"She sat and sobbed for a good half an hour after we'd ... finished, all she spoke about was you Wanda," Nat sighed as I bit my cheek and looked anywhere but at the two girls, "she was hysterical, talking about how much this was going to hurt you and how much she wished she didn't do it, I've hardly ever seen her that torn up and for what it's worth, I know all she thought about the whole time was you. She won't admit it but it wasn't me she was getting with, in her mind it was you ... and I knew that, that alone should've been enough to stop me but I didn't care because we both knew without saying it, it was never going to be anything more than a final thing. You need to believe that I'm genuinely sorry for how this has affected you personally and your guys' relationship, I really am."

Wanda nodded slowly and sat back in her chair in silence before looking over to me with a soft gaze.

"You didn't tell me that," she whispered.

"Didn't seem important, we still slept together, what does it matter that I cried afterwards?"

"I don't know," she shrugged, "it means something to me ... I don't know what, but it does, it- I don't know."

Nat hummed and tapped the table in front of us twice.

"I'll leave you two?" she asked Wanda as my girlfriend nodded back to her.

"Thank you for talking to me," Wanda agreed, "and don't ever think about doing anything like this again or you'll seriously regret it."

Nat laughed out her nose slightly but nodded, "you gonna punch me again?"

"Do you want to find out?" Wanda raised her brows.

Nat smirked slightly but shook her head, looking at me a final time before leaving the two of us alone, Wanda's hand gravitating back to mine as I picked my eyes off the details on the desk and looked over at her.

"I wonder what would've happened if this was you and Vision and not me ... I'd probably throw him so far he'd never return," I laughed slightly.

"I'd never do that though," she raised.

"I know, you're a much better person than me that's why," I exhaled, linking our fingers together, "I can't believe you're still sticking with me, I would've understood if you'd never spoken to me again."

"I love you," she shrugged, "it's not as easy as that, I was so angry at you at first and then I heard about Nat and that just hurt me but ... I didn't stop loving you. I didn't particularly like you, but I did love you and that feeling is so much more important than the stupid shit you had done."

"You still trust me?" I checked.

"With my life," she smiled softly, giving my hand three squeezes.
