"What's going on?" Steve asked as we all sat around the breakfast table which has probably never happened before.
Everyone was dressed ready for training except for Stark who was still in his jumper and trousers, looking over at us all like he was counting heads. Wanda was sat at the complete other side of the table to me, the two of us having had not even looked at each other since last night.
"You two had a fight or something?" Nat asked quietly.
"Or something," I nodded subtly as Stark clapped his hands together.
"I had a meeting with Fury very early this morning and we came to the decision that it was time Rebeka be given the chance to ... redeem herself," he said hesitantly as Beka turned the corner and sat down at the table next to Wanda, her hair back to its full platinum blonde as her body lived in a pair of leggings and a tight long sleeve work out top.
"It's about damn time," I smiled slowly, meeting her eye as she gave me a smile back.
"Now she's not part of the team and she won't be going on missions but she will be training with us and have the freedom to walk around the tower as she pleases," he concluded, "any objections, take them up with Fury and leave me out of it."
"Did that need us all to be awake before 8am?" Sam asked into his coffee.
"I have to second that," Nat nodded slowly.
"Can I third that?" I smiled slightly.
"It's like a band of children," Stark told Steve, loud enough that we all heard it, "that's actually not everything, I have one more person you all need to meet. He's not technically an avenger yet because of school and homework-"
"What?" Nat sat forward.
"School?" I asked.
"Did he say ... homework?" A very tired Clint checked.
"That would imply he's younger than 18," Vision interjected.
"Thank you toaster, we got that much," I remarked back.
"Please just-" Stark sighed, "underoos!"
Coming from the same corner was a vaguely familiar looking boy who couldn't have been older than 16, looking around at all the walls like he was in a museum, dressed in a navy blue 'Midtown school of Science and Technology' hoodie and a pair of black jeans.
"Mr Stark, this place is awesome," he remarked, walking to the front where Tony was stood with a small smile.
"This is our potential new recruit," he told us all, placing his hand on his shoulder.
"That's a child Tony," Bruce interjected.
"Has he even hit puberty yet?" Sam asked.
"Yeah I know he's young but he's exceptional, SHEILD have been keeping an eye on him for almost 4 months, this is who's saving the little guys while we're off fighting the big bad," Stark added, "Kid, this is the entire team."
"Hi," he said nervously to the room, "I'm Peter- Parker- Spider-Man? What do I call myself?" He asked Stark.
"I knew I recognised you," I laughed slightly, sitting up and looking at him closer.
"You've met?" Nat checked.
"Yeah," Peter nodded quickly, pointing at me with a smile, "she kind of helped me with an issue I was having."
"You found him and didn't tell anyone?" Stark asked.
"Wanda knew too," I defended.
"Why would you throw me in that with you?" Wanda asked loudly across the table as the volume dropped and everyone looked between us.
