"Y/N/N," a female voice knocked from the other side of my door, "can I come in?"
I groaned and opened my eyes slowly to around me at my bedroom in the tower, the dark book in my hand. Clicking the lock shut on my door, I kicked the book under my bed and quickly stripped out of my suit, unzipping the side and throwing it at the bottom of my wardrobe before grabbing a pair of joggers and slipping them in instead. I gave myself one final look in the mirror with a small nod as I let out a small breath and opened the bedroom door to my girlfriend whose eyes were red and sunken, her cheeks pink and fluffy as her chin quivered. She was dressed in one of my hoodies and a pair of leggings, her hair messily pulled to the bottom of her head.
"Hey," she exhaled with relief, "I know it's only been a day and you wanted space but I really can't sit on my own anymore, I'm so so sorry, I don't know what took over me, I just saw her and I saw red and I'd understand if you don't want to listen to me, you can turn me away if you want, hell I'd break up with me if I were you but can you just at least listen to my apology and then you can dismiss me-"
I laughed out my nose slightly and pulled her into a tight hug, holding her body against me as I breathed in the scent I hadn't smelt for almost a week in my time.
"I love you," I whispered into her hair as she wrapped her arms around me too.
"Are you okay? Do you hate me?" she breathed out.
"I'm okay, I don't hate you; I'm just really happy to see you," I sighed, kissing the side of her head before pushing our bodies apart and kissing her lips firmly.
Her legs almost buckled as she kissed me back with her hands moving to my hips until I pulled away and looked between her eyes.
"I punched Natasha in the face," she whispered.
"Yeah," I nodded slowly.
"I sprained my thumb," she added, holding up her hand in a soft cast.
I laughed out my nose and took her hand in mine, kissing the back of it softly.
"I dont know why I hit her, I've never done that before ... is she okay? Have you spoken to her?" she asked me quickly.
I shrugged, "I haven't seen her but she'll be okay, she's pretty tough."
Wanda nodded back before laying her forehead against my chest, "I'm sorry for accusing you of sleeping with her."
"Stop apologising," I smiled softly, wrapping my arms around her again, gently stroking up and down her spine, "I know you're not a violent person, I would've been the same if I saw you in bed with Vision and I should've thought about that more."
She nodded again, letting out a soft sigh, "I really thought you were going to break up with me."
"Not a chance," I laughed out my nose as she pulled away to look into my eyes again.
"I love you," she whispered.
"I love you too," I smiled back softly as she stood up on her tiptoes to kiss me, her hands on my chest as mine sat on her hips.
"It's okay if you want to break up with me," she mumbled against my lips as I pushed her backward into the wall and kissed down to her neck.
"I don't want to," I whispered, kissing the skin around her neck as she let out a staggered breath and tilted her head to the side.
"What are you up to?" she exhaled.
"Shhhhh," I smiled slowly, lightly sucking on the spot under her right ear as she let out a small hum of approval, wrapping her arms around my neck to keep me close while I pushed my thigh between her legs.
