Chapter 6

A few weeks later, of them still calling each other names and trowing a few things at each other, trying to 'prove' who's better

"Hey idiot!" Minsoo says catching up to jaehyun on the school hallways, heading to the library. "What are you up to, something stupid again?"
"Nothing as stupid as you" jaehyun replies attempting to flick Minsoo.
"Wanna see who's smarter?"
"I already know the answer to that but sure"
"Let's see who finishes the art project first, deadline , in 40 mins, winner gets 2 bucks"
"Hell yeah, see ya in the library, idiot" says jaehyun running faster towards the library.
"Asshole!" Yells Minsoo trying to catch up to him .
"What are you gonna draw? I mean, I already know it's gonna be extremely ugly either way , just like you" Says jaehyun laughing
"Since my drawings gonna be ugly either way I'm drawing you"
"Fine, then I'm drawing you, but I'm gonna make you uglier then ever, although I don't know if it can get any uglier"
"Sure"
They both start painting, trowing a few insults at each other along the way and some paint brushes too.
"Lemme see" says jaehyun
"No, it's not finished"replies Minsoo hiding his painting better
"Ill show you mine if you show me yours"
"Hmm,fine"
"On three. One , two , three!"
"Actually, I'm looking kinda good since when do you know how to paint? Or no wait, sorry, maybe a spirit possessed you, you can't paint" says jaehyun looking at the portrait Minsoo painted
"Can't say the same for you, I don't even wear suits" says Minsoo trying not to laugh
"I wanted to make you as ugly as possible" he replies secretly taking a picture of the portrait and Minsoo, 'hes not actually really ugly tho, just an idiot' he thinks staring at his painting of Minsoo
"Well, then, you won, you finished it first" Minsoo says trowing 2 bucks at jaehyun trying not to laugh
"Keep it, who knows maybe your ugliness will manifest to me if I take this" he said confidently
"That would only make you prettier" Minsoo replies laughing
"Sure, let's go, its probably late, or stay here, maybe I'll have the luck of someone kidnapping you" jaehyun says now running out of the library, with Minsoo trying to catch up to him
"Hah, already tired? We've only been running for a minute"
"Lemme catch my breath first jaehyun" says Minsoo leaning against the wall, not noticing jaehyuns ears turned red. "Let's go put the paintings in the office, the teacher said he doesn't care what type of painting it is as long as it's not cartoon ish"
"Alright" , They head to the office
"Ah, Minsoo, did you get the painting ready? Oh and jaehyun, you 2 were very close to the deadline, what took you so long?" Says the teacher looking annoyed
"Well, we just forgot" says jaehyun
"Alright , leave them on my desk" , they put the paintings on the desk and leave
"God that teacher is so annoying, we had like a few hours left until the deadline. Ofc he's not as annoying as you" jaehyun flicks Minsoo
"Exactly, like we had time" he adds avoiding getting flinked my jaehyun again
"Alright then, see you tomorrow! Hopefully not , bye!"
"Hopefully not see you too" Minsoo replies.
They both go home
'He's actually...not that annoying. Definitely not ugly, and .... I do hope to see him tomorrow. God what's happening to me, I've hated him my whole life' thinks Minsoo lost in his thoughts on his way home.
"Minsoo! Wait for me!" Says his sister running towards him "what are you doing"
"Going home, why?" He asks.
"Oh same, I saw you walking so yeah" his sister says pushing him towards the fence . "Did you hear?"
"Hear what?"
"Oh we're all going to visit grandma in like 2 days, she hasn't been feeling well"
"Seriously? What about school? I can't miss all my classes" he says a bit panicked
"Dad already talked to all of your teachers, she was planning on telling you today but I saw you here so I just decided to tell you myself"
"But if I see grandma I'll have to see mom too..."
"She won't be there it's ok, don't panic"
"Oh ok" he says catching his breath
"Come on let's go home, I'm starving" she says running closer towards the house
"Wait for me!" He says running after her
after dinner
'I wonder what jaehyun is doing right now, I think I miss him...maybe he posted something on instagram' he thinks looking at the pictures jaehyun posted
'I know what I said, but he was never ugly, I never actually thought that, wait, what's this new post.... That's, that's my painting! What? Why would he post that? He probably didn't actually like it, right? Actually when did he even take that picture? But ...I don't mind,.. actually, I kind of like that he posted it.'
