Sounds of birds chirping invaded the spacious living room of an apartment. That particular noise was subsided by delicious cooking, a pan was twirled in the air, making an omelette fly upwards and land back on the heated surface. Minji hummed a song and glanced at her roommate and best friend, who was busy making her web-shooters.

A few days went by since the party and both girls were shaken to their cores, after watching TV news on every channel and none seemed to highlight some shadows lurking around. It's like no one saw them and they were prominent only to these two. Haerin was pretty confused and concluded her theories with concentration and some dug information from books and some online sources.

It was possible that these creatures, (let's call them: zombies), were merged with genomes that weren't specified in nature yet. Haerin's first logical guess would be a cheetah, if this situation was different, however, her mind wandered elsewhere when Minji underlined the zombie's unnatural ability to cut through time and space. Your words, not mine, she reminded and the feline felt silent.

It was very disturbing, because they didn't fully know how many of these doppelgängers were lurking around in shadows and if they would, or are able to evolve and cause further chaos. Since police were always in time to see this otherworldly individuals, they are totally alerted about this situation and are trying to get rid of them so no panic will erupt in Seoul.

"It's just— I don't get it, why are they glitching? Are they some failed experiments?," Haerin would hear herself question whenever she was digging into websites, figuring out if her line of thinking was going anywhere. When Minji wasn't able to answer, she knew they were in deep shit.

A click made both girls widen their eyes.

"Oh." They simultaneously breathed out and watched Haerin's web-shooters on the table. The feline girl followed Uncle Taehyung's detailed explanation; he even included some models of watches that could be used for this invention. Haerin decided to use some old wristwatches she had, emptying them and twisting some things inside, successfully creating a high pressure launching system to place some ammo full of fake webs.

"OH!," They simultaneously yelled again and Haerin jumped up, scooping her best friend in her arms and twirling her around, the other laughing hysterically and hooraying in happiness.

"You did it, Haerin! Finally, it's done!," Minji screamed at the top of her lungs and watched Haerin do a little cute dance.

The said girl breathed out a sigh of relief and looked down at her creation. "All that's left is brewing the fake web formula in CO2 cans. I'll do that first thing tomorrow in Chemistry class." Haerin managed to let out, her breath hitching from the excitement she felt.
