_______________MINJI was screaming into the earpiece, saying how she and Hyein will be at the mall in ten minutes. Haerin, however, didn't weaver even for a second—her number one priority right now was to find anyone within the fire and somehow put it out. The feline crawled inside the area and didn't see anyone yet, so she kept on running around and looking inside shops to ensure that no one was left behind. It seems like the people were alerted right away and security was able to get them out.
That was her line of thought, until she heard a few screams coming from a nearby place. Haerin ran there and saw some people stuck inside a shop, where the flames were slowly spreading. Smoke was making it a bit hard to see, however the brunette hero was beyond cautious and swift—she grabbed already burnt roof parts from the exit—all of them were so strongly stacked on each other, that she was having a bit of trouble doing it fast.
Once Spider-Kid opened the entry of the shop, exit for the frightened costumers, she came face-to-face with some girls along with Danielle and Hanni. Haerin exhaled a sigh of relief after seeing them and ushered everyone to start running. "Go, go!" She yelled at them and followed behind to find the quickest path towards freedom.
Haerin stopped after hearing police cars outside, one of the officers announcing loudly from his speaker. The familiar voice made the feline relieved to a celestial extent. It was Yeonjun.
A firefighter truck was placed neatly on the ground, the firefighters themselves being lifted by the ladder and standing in a cart, exactly on the level people were on and motioning everyone to climb inside. Haerin grabbed one girl and gave her to the firefighters, then second, then third and then she held Hanni very firmly, helping her up in the cart. When she turned back to grab Danielle's hand, another explosion made the floor shake beneath them and Spider-Kid's eyes widened. Those asshole vultures. This specific explosion caused a piece of this level's floor, which Haerin and Danielle were standing on, to start falling off. The cheerleader yelped and felt herself slide off and see the street, closing her eyes tightly and hearing Hanni's screams.
She waited for the impact. When she'd black out. Probably die. But it didn't come. All she could feel was the soft wind breeze against her face, while a trusted hero kept her in their arms very tightly. Haerin was swinging with one hand, her second wrapped firmly around Danielle's waist and squeezing it a few times to let her know she was safe. The feline's eyes softened when she felt how her crush cuddled into her more, her heart soaring from happiness and relief. The second Haerin saw Danielle fall off was the moment she found this weird speed she has never used before. In a flash of lighting, she had the cheerleader in her arms.
After a few more swings, Danielle felt a faint smell of flowers and opened her eyes, glancing at Spider-Kid's white lenses. Haerin could hear her heartbeat in her ears. She coughed lightly and slowly let go of Danielle's waist, the latter staring at the hero with sparkles in her eyes.
