WHILE walking through the woods, Haerin clutched her thigh, gripping it and crying like a little baby, her heart clenching against her ribcage in a way that made her feel like it was about to burst. She was bleeding internally and externally from exhaustion, sadness and betrayal. This was the second time she met Jungwon and it was more traumatizing than the first time. Mostly, because he was trying his best to not harm Taehyung and Minji, so she knew something was wrong with what and why he was doing all this. The feline felt like dying, she wanted to see Minji, she wanted to assure herself that her best friend was fine and that she was fast enough to save her.
Upon walking, her sense tingled, but not in a bad way. She raised her head and noticed the chief of police leaning on his car, examining his nails. Haerin stopped in her tracks and gazed at him, thinking he was about to arrest her, so she took a step back, but Yeonjun noticed the hero right away. He smiled at her, the first time he did, actually. "C'mon, let me drive you to wherever you want. I know you're tired and can barely walk."
Spider-Kid scoffed. "I know you police officers want to arrest me."
Yeonjun's eyes softened and he scratched his nape. Then, he opened the passenger door. "I won't force you. However, I'm not planning on arresting you. If I wanted to do that, every police car would be here right now." He confessed and watched how Haerin was clutching her thigh.
Spider-Kid shook her head and raised her wrist, but when she tried to shoot a web at him, it wouldn't come out. Haerin looked at her web-shooters tiredly and realized that her ammo was wasted fully. Yeonjun crossed his arms and furrowed his brows. The feline clenched her jaw and knew that she wouldn't be able to get out of here without help. She glanced at the chief, who was looking at her expectedly.
She slowly walked up and sat in the passenger seat, relaxing and feeling how sore her muscles were from all that fighting. Once Yeonjun sat in the driver's seat, Haerin spoke up. "Where are the missing bodies? Are they all okay?"
The chief looked in the mirror to make sure no one and nothing was around them. "They're all okay. They're at the hospital." He replied and started driving out of the area, turning on the radio.
The song that came on halfway was 'Sunflower', the one they sang in the cave. Haerin looked at her companion, who also glanced at Spider-Kid's white eyes. They both smirked and started singing at the top of their lungs.
"YOU'RE THE SUNFLOWER! YOU'RE THE SUNFLOWER!!"
Minji was laying on the hospital bed, her face a bit better, not as pale as it was before. A little color was noticeable already.
