"Hi, Hi. Pshhhh. Can you hear me? One two th—"
"Minji, shut the fuck up."
Haerin rubbed the bridge of her nose, frowning at her friend's stupid behavior. She was swinging through the streets of Seoul, trying to find trouble and save the day. Minji had this weird idea to be the guy in the chair, her helper. She decided to use her headphones and connect them to her phone, so they could call and communicate. Haerin, however, had some old earphones connected to her phone.
The black haired girl kept complaining about the fact that Haerin didn't hang out with her as much as she used to, since the latter had to be outside, either getting bruised or bruising someone else. It was no surprise she decided to keep annoying her with random singing, loud noises of chewing, fights about unnecessary matters and denying her obvious crush on Hanni.
"And so she turns to me and says: 'What? Jealous he's stronger than you? That asshole! Haerin, I'm telling you, she hates my guts and will try to poison me one day," Minji kept on rambling while chewing on chips, the sound making Haerin's twitch in discomfort because of how sensitive her ears had become.
"Or she has a crush on you," Haerin concluded for the hundredth time this week, already tired of having this talk with her best friend every day. "Just admit it, Minji, it will make everyone happier," She said, her voice monotone in the phone-call, and landed on a random roof, looking over her city at night in awe. The city lights brightened the contrast of Seoul's system, highlighting some tourist parts; followed by beautiful suburbs and distinct chatter of some neighborhoods. It was calming, If she doesn't count how Minji's voice is making her a bit conscious that she can't have peace even during the night.
Her tingling sensation went off, but it was different than what she had when it was a robbery or anything similar. This was almost like...
Hurriedly, Haerin stood up and swung to the feeling of danger. "Shit, Minji," She breathed and her friend immediately stopped her rant when she heard the feline's tone of voice.
"What? What's wrong?"
"It's that feeling— The one I always got when it was close." Spider-Kid wandered the streets, trying to catch up with her nemesis. Her sensation was all over the place, so she was sure that zombie was using super-speed or teleportation, whichever it was, she can't wrap a finger around what the hell it really is.
With a sense of direction, Haerin ran over the building's roof, jumping off and swinging towards the... heart of this city? Okay, that's.. odd. This figure never showed up in crowded places, it was like a rule written in a book, that it didn't dare to break.
