_________________Spider-Kid saves another day by defeating an anomaly that caused quite a commotion in a popular diner.
Haerin's eyes were red from how much she spent on her and Minji's computer in her room.
Hyein, Hanni and Danielle slept in Minji's room, since it was bigger and had another mattress in it. Minji decided to sleep in Haerin's bed, urging the other to sleep, but the feline rejected that offer and sat through numerous blogs, articles and news that had videos or brief explanation of the zombie's appearance. The word 'brief' was taken too seriously by everyone.
All the former hero could find was theories that didn't have to do anything with current situation. There were explanations about zombie's attire, but the only specific thing mentioned was that it was otherworldly— In a negative aspect of course. That didn't help with anything. No DNA disruptions, no warnings that should be taken in consideration; genuinely nothing. Scientists and the government would totally be quiet about this, since the commotion was too serious. Danger and fear consumed everyone in Seoul— In South Korea— even in the whole world.
Haerin scratched her neck and looked down at her notes, sighing when she found nothing else that helped her achieve some progress in her current quest. There was probably no hope for this certain topic. Plus, she wasn't sure if she would encounter another zombie like this or not. Or even if it was dead. She didn't have the time to look at its' body for too long— so there could be a chance that it somehow survived. As many times as it escaped from polices' grasp; it would be able to keep itself in shape too.
After looking down at the clock and noticing it was almost 4Am, Haerin decided to slip under the covers next to Minji and going to the local library tomorrow. She had a hunch it had to do something with Dr. Lee Joon-Seok.
"So... Did you just eat instant ramen for the whole week?," Hyein questioned tiredly after glancing at the cabinets, frustrated by her friend's unserious behavior.
Haerin shrugged and continued overlooking some notes that were needed for their next exam in chemistry. "I didn't have time."
"You almost never have time." The skepticism in her voice wasn't unnoticeable to the brunette, who momentarily stopped reading and perked her ears up, trying to catch another syllable from her friend.
Hyein sighed and sat next to her. She stared at her seat neighbor, the other glancing back at her and holding intense eye contact. "Tell me. Where were you yesterday?"
Haerin furrowed her brows. "What do you mean? I was with you guys."
The model got serious. "During the commotion."
