Danielle sat on the floor, the other Hanni beside her, trying to calm her down. Once both Haerins delved into the portal, no one had any idea how to contact them, since they haven't turned on the earbuds. Minji tried to show the positive side—however nobody was returning her energy. The other Danielle and Hyein sat near the screen, pushing and pulling some buttons to find the folder that contained destroying portals. They should do everything before Haerins came back—since Danielle and her Haerin had to go to their original universe—just in time before the building exploded. Everything was risky, moving too fast—and everyone was on edge. They didn't know what to think or what to do—other than ensuring each other that things would go well.
A sudden chatter made everyone look up and see the screen—it had a microphone displayed, from which a voice was heard. "Is this working?," One of the Haerins asked and Minji chuckled, running up to the screen and turning the talking mode on.
"Haerin? Can you hear us?," Minji questioned and waited for a reply.
Everyone cheered after they heard Spider-Kid's reply. "Yeah, damn. This thing is too good, man. Another reason why you shouldn't be suicidal," The feline said and Minji raised a brow, confused what the conversation was about.
"Shut up! I warned you, but you didn't listen!," Similar voice spoke up, making everyone even more confused about what was going on.
"I'm gonna kick you! I told you, we're gonna find an alternative."
Minji blinked a few times and directed the microphone towards her mouth, but stopped when the two cats on line started glitching. "Hey—hey? Guys?," She started, furrowing her brows when the lagging continued uncomfortably.
"Ahhhh!," A feline's screech could be heard through the earpiece. "Work. On. Portals!," Haerin yelled between harsh punches—they were probably being ambushed by phantoms.
Minji let out a huff and covered her ears, along with everyone else, when the earpiece started glitching. Probably broken.

In another universe, Haerin was getting spun in the air by a phantom, but she regained balance and fought an army of them, who tried to claw at her flesh. The scientist Haerin ran from them, taking out her laser and directing it at them—shooting and making painful blows towards their ashy skin, one which lit them on fire.
"What is that laser?!," Spider-Kid questioned and grabbed a phantom, punching it in the gut and pushing it away, towards others, which fell to the ground from this impact.
"It shoots strong blue light that—"
"Okay, got it—," Haerin commented and wailed, getting thrown across the field of gray flowers, ending up rolling onto the dirt. "Gosh, so much for wanting world peace. Or universal peace? Or multiversal...." She trailed off and jumped up at a spider-sense, webbing towards the castle, seeing how her doppelgänger was following with her cool laser. At least she can take care of herself.
Haerin huffed and landed against a wall of the castle, looking inside a bit to see anything—but a grayish hand grabbed her neck and pulled her inside. Great. Spooky and scary, just what she wanted.
Spider-Kid spun around and webbed towards the highest point of the castle, with several phantoms floating after her. "Why do you guys look like dementors? A bunch of patents if you ask me!," She screamed and squeaked when that seemed to get a reaction out of the grayish creatures. They started chasing the feline through the halls, making the said girl alert. She started jumping up and down, taking down most of them with a few kicks. They were no different than the vultures or infected humans in her original dimension, making it more easier to guide Haerin through defeating all of them in one go.
