𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞, Kimiko is feeling the full effects of her sleepless night, again. Her eyelids are heavy, and she's yawning continuously as she drags herself toward U.A. High School. Despite the excitement of the previous day's events, the exhaustion from staying up late to cram for her math and modern literature classes is taking its toll. Especially since the teachers of those subjects decided to give them tests on the third day of school!
Her homeroom teacher's voice echoed in her mind. "This is just the beginning. U.A. High has high expectations, and this was only a taste of what's to come. If you want to stay in the hero course, you'll have to prove you belong here every single day."
A growl escaped her lips at that particular sentence he said at the end of the quirk assessment test on the first day. You couldn't have been more right, sensei...
As she neared the school, her attention was abruptly pulled by a cacophony of yells and shouts. The noise, unusually loud and chaotic for a typical school morning, catches her off guard. Rubbing her tired eyes, she looks up to see a surprising sight: dozens of reporters and camera crews have gathered at the school's entrance.
The swarm of reporters is bustling with activity, their cameras flashing and microphones thrusting toward the school's doors. The scene is chaotic, with reporters shouting questions and trying to get the attention of passing students and staff. The school's usually calm and orderly entrance is now a frenzy of flashing lights.
Kimiko's eyes widen in disbelief as she takes in the scene. Her exhaustion momentarily forgotten, she pauses in her tracks, her confusion evident. What the fuck is going on, here?
As Kimiko tries to push through the crowded entrance of U.A. High School, determined to find out what the fuss is about, she inadvertently bumps into someone. Startled, she looks up to see a figure wearing a black hood that obscures their face.
The impact is jarring, and the figure stumbles slightly before regaining their balance. Kimiko, still disoriented from her lack of sleep, quickly apologizes, her voice muffled by the surrounding noise.
"Sorry about that," she says, rubbing her shoulder where the bump occurred.
The person in the hood doesn't immediately respond. Instead, they adjust their hood and glance around cautiously, as if trying to avoid attention. The hooded figure's demeanor is tense, adding an air of mystery to their presence. Kimiko's curiosity is piqued even more by the stranger's unusual behavior amidst the chaos. She takes a step back, trying to get a better look, but the figure turns away, seemingly eager to blend into the crowd. Yeah, there's definitely something going on here.
As Kimiko made her way through the throng of reporters, it suddenly hit her with a jolt. Wait a damn sec... Reporters and cameras? Her father and family might see her face on TV if one of those cameras captures her! Her eyes widen in realization, and her heart races when that thought crosses her mind.
Of fuck... Are you kidding me? Looking left to right for any other entrance, the redhead doesn't see any. Her only chance to walk inside the safety of her school and not be late, again, was to pass through this entrance. The heck am I supposed to do?! That stupid uniform doesn't have a hood!
