𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠, 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫, 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 end of the school day. For most of the class, it was just another routine end to a long day of lessons, but for Kimiko, it was something else entirely. The moment the sound echoed through the room, she shot out of her seat, her sudden movement startling those nearby, and jumped above her desk, swinging her back on her shoulder in the process.

"Whoa, Kimiko-san!" Midoriya exclaimed, nearly dropping his pen as he looked up in surprise. "Did you just... jump out of your seat?"

Kimiko grinned, her eyes gleaming with energy. "Damn right I did," she replied, rolling her shoulders as if shaking off the weight of the three long days she passed with reduced mobility. "No more crutches. No more bandages. I'm free."

Tsuyu blinked as she approached her two friends, tilting her head slightly. "Kero. You don't look like you were injured at all."

The redhead shrugged. "I told you it wasn't a big deal. Just a scratch, really."

We don't have the same definition of "a scratch" it seems... The two green-haired students looked at each other while sweatdropping.

Suddenly, she felt a weight on her shoulders and a snicker reached her ears. "If it was just a scratch, you wouldn't have been limping like a penguin this morning, would you?"

Raising her head, Kimiko met Kaminari who had a grin tugging at the corner of his lips and his yellowish eyes twinkling with mischief.

The redhead's eye twitched, a flash of annoyance crossing her face as she shot him a look. "It was a scratch," she snapped, though the image of her hobbling around like a penguin definitely didn't help her case. "Just... an annoying one."

The boy snickered, clearly not buying it. "Uh-huh, sure. Looked more like you were wad—"

Before he could finish, Kimiko's hand shot out, grabbing his wrist. She leaned in slightly, her voice low and dangerous as a shadow was cast on the upper half of her face. "You want to keep that arm attached to your shoulder?" she asked, her eyes narrowing before meeting his. "Because if you don't, feel free to keep running your mouth."

Kaminari froze, his grin faltering as he raised both hands in mock surrender. "Whoa, hey, no need to get violent! I was just messing with you!" Shit... I forgot how scary she is.

Kimiko tightened her grip slightly before letting go with a smirk. "Good. Now, unless you want what happened this morning to happen again..." She trailed off, leaving the threat hanging in the air.

The electric-quirk user blinked, confusion flickering across his face. "Wait, what happened this morning?"

"You want something to help you remember?"

Kaminari gulped, clearly deciding that pushing her any further wasn't worth the risk. "Nope, I'm fine, I got it. No more penguin jokes. No more touching your shoulders. Totally not. I'm cool with it. So glad you're out of those bandages, by the way. Happy for you."

Nearby, Midoriya and Tsuyu stood frozen, both of them sweatdropping at the scene unfolding before them. Midoriya's eyes darted nervously between Kimiko and Kaminari, while Tsuyu simply blinked, her expression hard to read.
