𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 that screamed laziness and made people second-guess their decision to leave bed. The sun's warmth beamed through the windows, casting a soft golden glow across the streets and the U.A. campus. A few students sighed, wishing they could just stay home. The clear sky and gentle breeze practically begged them to skip school, head to a park, or chill somewhere with ice cream.

And amongst those students...

"Why do we even have school on days like this?" Kaminari groaned as he shuffled down the hallway, barely lifting his feet.

"I know, right? We should be out enjoying the weather." Mina added, her face scrunched up as if the school schedule had personally betrayed her.

Even the usually energetic students looked like they'd rather be anywhere else. Lethargic yawns echoed through the hallways as people moved at a snail's pace, dragging their feet. It was as if the sun itself had lulled everyone into an exhausted haze.

As Mina and Kaminari walked side by side, their yawns practically synchronized, they looked like zombies shuffling through the halls, both visibly struggling to stay awake. Mina's mouth stretched wide, her eyes barely open, while Kaminari's jaw seemed unhinged as he yawned for the third time.

"Hugh, this should be illegal," He muttered, dragging his feet so much it seemed like he might just faceplant any second.

Mina groaned in agreement, rubbing her eyes dramatically. "Yeaaaah... We should be having a week off at least after what we went through Friday."

Right in the middle of their synchronized complaining, they caught sight of someone whose demeanor was—interesting, to say the least...

"Uh... do you see what I'm seeing?" Mina whispered, nudging Kaminari without taking her eyes off it.

There, swinging through the hallway like a determined, one-person parade, was a lone figure, moving with an odd rhythm. With one crutch under their arm, the other leg limping awkwardly behind, they propelled themselves forward with exaggerated effort. The crutch squeaked loudly with every step, like some bizarre metronome.

"That... that looks like..." Kaminari squinted.

"A really pissed-off flamingo," The pink-skinned girl whispered.

And coming toward them was none other than Kimiko Todoroki. Her expression was a thunderstorm in human form. Her eyebrows were furrowed so deeply it looked like they were trying to merge, and her lips were pressed into a thin, dangerous line.

A brief moment of silence fell over the hallway, a stillness that seemed to hang in the air as Mina and Kaminari processed what they'd just witnessed. Then, in perfect sync, both of them burst into uncontrollable laughter.

Kaminari doubled over, clutching his stomach as tears welled in his eyes. "I— I can't!" He then took a bold step forward, his usual grin plastered across his face. "Hey, Kimiko," he said, eyes gleaming with mischief, "how's the hobbling life treating you?"

Mina, standing beside him, raised an eyebrow and added, "You know, I bet you could use that crutch to do some sick flips. Ever thought about that?" She winked, clearly enjoying the banter, leaning in closer as if she had just given Kimiko a brilliant idea.
