(Short chapter?)
I was getting ready for school on a dreadful Monday. I was rushing down the stairs waiting for my coffee to be ready.
"Mom, can you put this hoodie in the laundry?" I said, holding Aiden's hoodie. She smiled.
"Sure, I'll put Aiden's hoodie in the laundry." She replied. I rolled my eyes. She really wants to see us together, just like Taylor. Little does she know, we are together. I just don't feel ready to tell her and my dad yet.
"Thank you." I said.
"Hey, trooper," said my dad as he walked into the kitchen, "You need a ride to school?"
"No," I replied, "Aiden is gonna pick me up." My dad didn't look so happy and my mom glared at him, which made him back up a bit.
"That's nice of him, have a good day, honey." Said mom.
(Narrator POV)
Ashlyn left the house after grabbing her thermos. Emma walked to the door to watch her leave (because she's creepy like that). She saw Ashlyn get really close to Aiden and he seemed caring for her until Aiden kissed her on the cheek. Emma's eyes widened and filled with sparkles. She couldn't help but smile. Her baby has a boyfriend. But why didn't she tell them? Maybe she wasn't ready. Emma thought about telling Mike but she decided not to and wait for when her daughter was ready. She walked back into the living room, a huge smile on her face.
"What's got you all smiley?" asked Mike.
"Oh, nothing." She replied.
(Ashlyn POV)
As I walked towards Aiden's driver's car, I saw Aiden there to greet me. He smiled and kissed me on the cheek.
"Morning, Ashy." He said.
"Morning, psycho." I replied. I got in the car and leaned on his shoulder. When we got to school we were holding hands. This was our first day at school as an official couple. I looked at Aiden and saw him scrolling through his phone, not a care in the world or who's watching us. I saw our friends and led Aiden over to them. Aiden was so glued to his phone. Probably watching memes or something.
"You two are so cute!" Squealed Taylor.
"Thank you." I said. I looked over at Aiden's phone to only find out that he was indeed looking at memes. I grabbed his phone.
"Ey!" He said.
"I wanna see the memes, too." I responded. He let me look at them. I heard the snap of a picture and looked up to see Taylor taking and posting a picture of us.
"Tay," said Aiden, "We said not to post us until we could tell our parents."
"Oh," she responded, "Right, sorry."
One of Taylor's friends came over and looked at us happily.
"They're finally dating?" She asked.
"Yeah! Only took like a bajillion years but they finally did it." Said Tay.
"They're so cute!!" Replied the girl.
"Thank you." I said, again. I don't know what else to say.
(Guys last time I did narrator POV was like in chapter 2 T.T/Btw I have school starting tmrw so I'll publish a new chapter later in the day)
