Elisse was awakened by the morning sun shining through the curtain on the window. She was lying on her side, Ominis pressed against her from behind like two spoons, his arm around her. She felt comfortable, but she knew she had to get up and go change into the girls' rooms so she could go to class. She carefully reached for Ominis's hand so as not to wake him and wanted to get out of his embrace. But immediately she felt how he gripped her even tighter.

He woke just enough to murmur groggily, his voice soft and husky with sleep.*
"Don't go... not yet."

She felt him bury his nose in her hair and inhale her scent. She felt a wave of pleasant sensation that she had never experienced before pass through her body. She automatically pressed herself against Ominis. "but we're going to have classes soon" she protested reluctantly.

Ominis groaned softly against her hair, still half-asleep but completely unwilling to release her.*

"I don't care about classes," he mumbled into her ear, his warm breath causing her skin to tingle.

His arm tightened around her waist as he pulled her even closer, as if trying to merge their bodies together. The feeling of her body against his was a delicious sensation, and his mind was still foggy with sleep.

"Just a few more minutes," he whispered, his voice thick with desire.

"it must be many hours already. The room is empty. It's just the two of us." she stated quietly

Ominis paused, realizing that she was right. The room was unusually quiet, as if most of their peers had already gone off to class. The silence was only broken by their quiet breaths, their heartbeats and the rustle of the sheets as he pressed her closer against him.

He nuzzled his face into her hair again, inhaling deeply, his senses filled with the scent of her.

"You're right, "he admitted, his voice still rough with sleep but now more awake. "I lost track of time..."

"I'm going to change quickly in my room. We probably won't have time for breakfast. Will you wait for me in the common room and we'll go to class together?" she asked him as she got out of bed.

Ominis nodded in agreement, reluctantly releasing his grip on her. He watched her as she got out of bed, a pang of disappointment in his chest as he felt her body leave his embrace.

"I'll wait for you in the common room," he confirmed, his voice still a little rough from sleep. "Hurry back. I'll miss you too much."

She smiled at him and left.
A few minutes later they met in the common room. "Ominis, we must hurry so that we can be on time for the start of Defense Against the Dark Arts class."
She grabbed his hand and led him briskly through the castle's corridors.

Ominis followed along diligently, a hint of a smirk on his face as he allowed her to lead him through the castle.

"Lead on, my fair guide," he teased, his voice light and playful. "I'd hate to keep Professor Hecat waiting."

*He walked at a brisk pace beside her, his hand secure in hers. He couldn't help but enjoy the feeling of closeness between them.

They ran to the classroom out of breath. All students were already in the classroom, including Professor Hecat. Everyone's attention turned to them.

"Mr. Gaunt, Miss Malfoy! You're late! Care to explain?" the professor asked sharply.

Elissa's eyes widened in horror because they hadn't prepared any relevant explanation.

Ominis cursed silently, his heart racing both from the sprint to class and the fear of explaining their lateness to Professor Hecat.

He cleared his throat, trying to maintain a facade of composure. He spoke calmly and clearly.

"Professor, I accept responsibility for our lateness," he began, his hand still holding Elisse's. "I was running late and Ms Malfoy kindly waited for me. We apologize for our tardiness."

"Alright." answered Professor Hecat." I hope it won't happen again! Now come here, both of you." she ordered them.
"Today we will perform a duel in pairs. Mr. Gaunt and Miss Malfoy will be paired. Will there be a brave couple in the class who will stand up to them? " Mrs. Hecat challenged the class.

Sebastian immediately stood up with a devilish expression on his face: "ME" . Immediately after that, Anne stood up with a similar expression. " and me"

Ominis immediately tensed when Sebastian and Anne stepped forward, a frown forming as he anticipated the upcoming challenge. He could sense Sebastian's mischievousness and Anne's determination, and he knew this wouldn't be an easy task.

He squeezed Elisse's hand gently, a silent plea for her support and readiness, before addressing Sebastian and Anne with a resigned sigh.

"Looks like we'll have to face you," he said, a touch of sarcasm in his voice.

" Excellent! Now take your positions and prepare your wands." preached the professor.

They faced each other.

"On three, two, ....." the professor didn't even have time to finish when Sebastian cast a spell on Ominis: "stupefy!"

Ominis was thrown to the ground and Elisa's anger at Sebastian's unfair treatment was awakened.

"Expeliarmus! " she shouted and Sebastian's wand flew towards her and she caught it mid-air.

Anne shouted an incantation but Elisse was faster and blocked the attack with a Protego defensive spell. Immediately, with a graceful pirouette, she used a stupefying spell on Anna.
Anna flew backwards.

Sebastian stood helplessly without his wand, a mixture of anger and surprise on his face.

Elisse turned and knelt down next to Ominis and asked him if he was okay.

Ominis sat up, rubbing his head where he had impacted the ground. The spell Sebastian had cast had knocked him off guard, but he was not seriously hurt. As he sat up, he heard Elisse's voice, filled with concern for him.

"I'm fine, I'm okay," he reassured her, wincing slightly as he got to his feet. "Just got knocked down. I guess Sebastian wasn't going to play fair, huh?"

"that was not nice of him"
she answered with anger. she grabbed Ominis shoulder and helped him up.

"Excellent concentration and wand work Miss Malfoy." Mrs. Hecat praised her.

Elisse walked up to Sebastian with anger on her face and handed him back his wand: "next time wait until the start." she barked at him.
Then she turned to Anna and asked her: "are you okay?"

Anne retorted: "I'm fine, go take care of your boyfriend!" tears glistened in her eyes.

Elisse was taken aback, and wordlessly returned to Ominis.

Ominis stood beside her silently, feeling a mixture of gratitude and admiration for her quick thinking and defense of him. He knew that Sebastian could be quite unfair at times, but he hadn't expected him to attack him like that.

He listened as she spoke to Sebastian and then to Anne, a small smile on his face at her protective response. He reached out and touched her arm gently, his touch a wordless gesture of support and appreciation.
